Posting after a long gap. Hope all my dear subscribers are doing well and hearty.
In this video, I am making a flower out of soft silk fabric.
Fabric Size: Width = 2.36" (6cm) / Length = 2.56" (6.5cm)
Make 42 Petals
Felt Fabric for base : Size = 1.57" (4cm)

That's so kind of you dear Becky. I am so fortunate to have come across such a loving person as you. Thank you so much for all your love and concern. Gone 3 months were really hard on me, had lost few of my favorite people, had a health and some personal issues. Everything came all together and it took time for me to recover fully. No, it won't. Make sure you seal the edge properly.

You also need a Bowl of Cold Water and a towel nearby for this project, in case any of these emergencies happen: 1: When You burn your fingers on the Hot Glue. 2: If You touch the tip of the Hot-Glue-Gun. 3: Just In case you get Thirsty. 4: In case it accidentally turns into a Domestic Campfire. I'm just kidding. xD But still, bring some water, your fingers will appreciate your generosity; after they've been burned on the same spot 10 times in a row. xD Beautiful flower BTW, This has already become an old video, but it definitely stood the test of time and is still something you should be proud of. :)

The edges of silk don't melt like that, though. Maybe that's some variety of nylon? I was hoping you'd actually finish the edges, so I could figure out how, but you just singe them, which won't work with natural silk, I think.

You are absolutely right, the pure silk doesn't melt that way. The silk I used in the video is not the natural pure silk, it's an artificial one and has a tendency to melt in fire.
