All rights go to the original owner. This was made because it is hard finding sheet music for this cadence, and I would like to make it easier for other drummers. Also, this was done by ear, so I apologize if any of it is incorrect.

My schools Drumline does something extremely similar to this arrangement. Our tenor part for my school is very different

I put it at 1.25 speed and it sounds like how we play it, except that the cymbals crash every eight note so it's more "intense"

There is different variations of this can, with mainly the snare part starting like this. My school plays this, but I tenors play something a little different and we call it funky noodle. Its the exact part from the movie drumline.

CR 3172 No, the original is by Martin Hotte from the movie "Drumline". I simply rearranged it using MuseScore because there is no written music for it. It's probably not completely accurate in the least, but it's playable, and sounds similar-ish to the real thing.

this is Senate, I know because my drumline plays it, but nice try though. Btw it's played differently too, you can't just change music and put your name on the front of it and act like nobody's going to notice

Oooh, I see what you mean. I didn't know it was actually called Senate, we've always just called it D&K. But I wasn't trying to make it look like I was just changing the music and putting my name on it. I could never find the music for this cadence, but my line wanted to play it, so I did my best to listen to the music and write down what it was. Of course I'm no composer, so a lot of it might be wrong or different how other people play it, but I gave it my best shot, and when we played it, people liked it. But, if you don't mind me asking, where did your line find the music for this??? I know my version is crap, but any other version that is musically correct would be great to see!
