This was also Attack Attack's OG sound. The heaviness with the synth and autotuned singing. It was a relatively new sound that I feel like they pioneered. God, I miss these days... lol I feel so old.

“I don’t know if that’s supposed to be funny or not” had me laughing so hard 😂 as another person said in the comments, seeing young Johnny and Caleb is so crazy. You know that corny comment I left about the PTxD? 😂 well that is exactly how I feel lol I saw this was 13 years ago and I was a senior in high school. Haven’t heard this song in forever and it’s definitely brought me back lol it’s an interesting choice for a first old Attack Attack! reaction. I thought it would’ve been Stick Stickly. We love the awkward mid 2000s metalcore trying to incorporate EDM elements 😂 good times. Long live crab core 🦀 I See Stars was another band back then that fell into crab core and mixing EDM elements. Metalcore in this era was kinda like the Wild West or something 😂

@@dna2001 I love that 😂 it literally just started as a meme but Attack Attack! were the first ones to embrace it lol it’s not even a real “genre” but it’s officially been coined as one afterwards. Idk if you know who the reactor Nik Nocturnal is, probably the biggest metalcore reactor on youtube, but he embraces it so much that sometimes he wears a crab costume and in photos with bands he hangs with will do the crabcore stance in the photos 😂

yo that had me laughing so hard too!! it's always the small innocent things they say that end up being the funniest. and I have never heard of crab core but I love I See Stars!! I feel like they are one of the few bands to incorporate EDM with metal and actually make it sound good

Queue* 👀 but also I wasn't super into Ronnie's part on the song, but Tech N9ne is one of my favorite rappers ever, his part was flawless, and Alex Terrible is always perfect so the second half of the song was a masterpiece and I hope they end up reacting to it.

@@dna2001 LET'S GOOO, I feel like you have such good music taste. I love Tech but haven't listened to him in a few months. I feel like I listen to soooo much music that I end up forgetting a lot of artists even exist Tech and Hopsin have been my favorite rappers for as long as I can remember. No shade on NF, but would be cool to see other rappers on the channel since I don't think you've done any others yet. Do either of you have Spotify? Maybe if you ever have time you can make a DNA playlist so that we can listen to some of the songs you guys like.

The old school metalcore videos are always a bit cringe in my opinion and this was no exception I rarely ever watch music videos though, so it's kind of cool getting to see some of them for the first time while you are reacting to the songs. I am pretty sure Caleb was under 18 in this video since he's only about 30 now and this song is quite the throwback, but they all totally do look like little kids also, if you guys haven't tried the Simply cheetos puffs white cheddar, y'all should get some cause they are life changing lol I try to avoid most artificial dyes, especially red 40, but these have no artificial dyes or flavors and they are gluten free for Dallas!

Ok so we were pretty close with our guess that they were probably high school ish age. I have tried the simply Cheetos puffs before and they are SO good! One of my favorite gluten free snacks. 😊🤤-Dallas
