The fact that every vocal layer is Vessel just astounds me to no end. I have the deepest profound respect for this man. I will always love Sleep Token. The male vocal determines who I continue to listen to when it comes to music. And Vessel's voice is King. At Massey Hall, I was transfixed ( I prefer gloriously silky woman vocals like Sade, etc.) But this is the first time in my short lifetime that one man's voice hooks me so hard I cannot break free. When you add in his exemplary lyrics, no one can save me. Add his piano, guitar, and post-mix skills, and I am destroyed, Add Vessel II and I am permanently committed to their entire discography. The inner healing this music act has facilitated in my life is a miracle in itself. What a time to be alive!

This song more than any of theirs really gets me everytime Even on listen number 60ish. I cant explain it. As has been said before. They really hit a emotional chord and you are never ready for it. Vessel truely is a gift and as bad as this sounds the wider world just isnt ready for this. Maybe its what it needs who knows. I just know in my 40 years of listening to as much music i can sample it baffles me how the taylor swifts of this world are lauded and a genius like vessel is largely ignored by the wider population.

This song marks an important turning point in Vessel and Sleep's relationship. This is the first time Vessel is recognizing how detrimental his obsession with Sleep is, but he's chosen to give in to her completely. While it may not be good for him, there is a certain beauty in surrendering to someone so completely. This song is really a prologue to the final song of the album, Bloodsport. Worship!

This song along with Blood Sport get the prize for the most beautiful Sleep Token songs for me. I feel like this song best encapsulates the gratitude and realization of how lucky anyone is to have someone with them. I love the reverence in the lyrics. “I know the gods will abandon The heavens just to find us To merely behold you As we lie down together.”

😂😂😂😂 chokehold girl 😅😊 It's interesting you said it reminded you of water because....ahem ...that's the next albums theme. And yes, Lord Vessel's voice is angelic...he hits notes I can't even hit 😂. I could probably when I was younger, but my advice to anyone.... don't smoke or vape. I smoked for 35 years and it ruined my voice for singing. I quit 2 years ago, but I still have to clear my throat alot. So, if you haven't started smoking or vaping, great 😃 Don't start lol. If you do, well only you can decide when and if you want to quit. It's a crutch for high anxiety and stress but you know what???!! Sleep Token helped me quit. Sometimes I'd have a craving for a cigarette but I'd listen to Give, Take Aim, Drag Me Under 😂, and Bloodsport (from the room below). Are you really Ok on the Eden album I love, but it reminds me of my daughter when she was going through a really hard time. Sleep Token can bathe you in tranquility and that helps me when I get stressed or pissed off 😅. So, no more smoking for me and Sleep Token is a remedy I don't mind relying on 😂😂 Drag Me Under and Take Aim are my top two relaxing songs, followed closely by Give, Sugar, and a couple on the upcoming Tomb album. I love Sundowning but I can't wait for y'all to move to the next album. Sleep Token is a rare band that seems to always make better albums as they go where as most bands blow their best stuff early on.
