Man the rocks look so weird there, no seaweed but also no kinas... and crays hanging round in empty holes with nothing around, what do they eat? must be some mussels or something for them around.

No kelp=no kina That's why there are no kina but there's plenty of koara because they eat the paua as a main food source

Mate! How do you stay down with such huge balls? I have property in Karamea and have often thought about getting out into the water but as you say, the coast is a furious place! If I were to go out I think I would want a crew with me.
