Here is a look at the NEA contextual challenges for GCSE D&T 2023-24. NEA contextual challenges are the choices that you have for areas to base tor D&T coursework. This project and the product that you make will be 50% of your overall GCSE D&T mark.
I give some advice on which to choose, and also discuss the importance of a client driven project for a top grade project.

Thanks for watching... A graphic product could be something related to climate change. But a board game I think would be my first choice as you can manufacture a folding board, instructions for the game and of course counters for each player (think about the stuff that comes with Monopoly.

lets say if you already picked your topic but your client dont give you the answers you expect, what do you do? Like for example if asking if he gets stuff normally stolen from like siblings or alot of crime in his location, and he says not alot

As far as marks and the examiner this would not matter. What is important is that you demonstrate in the first section sheets 1-6 that what you are doing matches the chosen context, ie, if its storage, what are you going to store? Show the consul and give sizes in mm. aslo show images of controllers ,chargers etc.. Also it is important to select a good (Genuine) client who can give you feedback on your designing process. they can assess your designs and feedback which you can include in the folder.
