D-Thing Multistep - repeat steps on the Moog DFAM and Behringer Edge

3 ай бұрынThe D-Thing enhances the inbuilt sequencer of the DFAM in many respects - Reset, Patterns and pattern length, MIDI connectivity and control, and more.
Firmware 1.5 brings some major additions to the D-Thing's capabilities.
1. Multistep (ability to repeat any step up to 8 times)
2. Swing & microtiming (move beats off the grid by up to 33% ahead or behind)
3. Full compatibility with the Behringer Edge.

Hey man!!! this is cool I have my EDGE now back at my studio and the D-Thing , I believe, MKii.... and still kicking. Will it work too with the EDGE?

The 1.5 firmware is needed to work with the Edge. There's a difference in the way the envelope triggers in the Edge compared to the DFAM, and the pulses into the Adv/Clock input need to be longer. But you can upload the 1.5 firmware into any model of the D-Thing.

@@KenWessen I will flash the 1.5 Firmware. IT adds capabilities then to work with the EDGE but, will it still work with the DFAM?

Yes. It will work with both devices.
