I was six and lived in Big Rock when this was made. I don't think we were there on that day, but it is great to watch this! Thank you.

Can't begin to thank you enough for this video. It show's my Grandfather (Popaw) Willard at a young age with my own Father Danny at 7 years old, both of whom are in Heaven now. I was raised near Grundy and find it unbelievably interesting to get to see a window into the past.

Thanks for posting this. I've never seen video of my grandparents Bill and Grace Belcher. All the Hampton VA Belchers really loved seeing this.

I can remember my dad telling me about the centennial. The men growing their beards, and dressing up in costumes It's really cool to be able to see video of him on color from that time, which was a year before I was borne.Thanks for posting it!
