Ahhh, the memories I have had with HoJ! Way back in the day, when I was first playing D2, I found my first ever Sur rune and then I traded for the Cham and Lo. I crafted my first ever HoJ bow and showed it off! This promptly got me all sorts of mean messages including ones like “wtf did you do?!?”, “lolz”, and, my favorite, “you’re an idiot....”. The moral I learned that day, never build a HoJ in a razor bow. Keep in mind I said Razor, not Blade, bow. Years later I built a Faith razor bow for the memories.

This had become one of my favorite runewords. I use it with my paladin along with the dragon armor, dream helm and dream shield. I also use the act 5 frenzy merc with 2 hoj's, a dragon armor and a dream helm. One of the best speed farming builds for cows hands down. I hope they don't nerf this haha. Great video like always ginger.

@@christiaanungerer3660 It's great in cows. Melts everything so damn fast. I have yet to try it on ubers. But its a great speed farming build.

You make it so fast and that make me scare, i usually look up at least 10 times before putting a runeword together cause a lot of things can happen like the wrong base, wrong order I once make a beast but in a wrong base( the phase blade) :))) I remember being so mad that i have to dowload hero editor jusst to get that ber and mal back.

there used to be a very nieche use for this rw, that was killing physical / poison immunes as a were druid, since when you take a killing blow while shapeshifted you trigger the "when you die" abilities but you first transform back into human with 1 hp, so you would isolate the monster you wished to kill, equip a hoj, let the monster hit you to cast the meteor and use a full regen potion. A lot of work, but it does the job.

Ooooh I had an interesting idea. An infinity on an act 4 merc, which would free you to use fire resist aura or salvation and a fire sunder charm! Perhaps the math doesn't work out that way though, but it could be used to have more resistances for extra safety. Maybe it could work for pvp against cold sorc, or others with sunder charms/lower resist? An expensive build for sure.

Adding a 2 socketed CoA helm with 2x +5/-5 fire facets gets the best out of this pally build. Just throwing that out there!

it gets better. stick infinity on a merc and spec in holy shock to run at the same time from yourself. so youd max shock and light resist, fire resist and salvation, and probably holy shield with 1 into zeal and 1 into vengeance for dealing with anything thats light/fire/phys immune. and if you really want to cover your bases keep a passion of some flavor in the cube for berzerk if theyre immune to everything else. thats why i keep a kingslayer in my barbs cube. just in case. if they dont nerf this into the dirt its going to be my endgame farmer for cows. basically as long as the current 2.4 patch is what goes live, the duo-din can farm p4-5 just walking around like you were on p1. because youre getting lightening at almost the same power level as fire. it feels like it works better than hoj/dragon dual dream of the same intent. you run conviction on yourself in that for slightly better resist breaking, but you really dont need it against cows. yes its an expensive af cow farmer, but few can even do it at the same pace, let alone at a better pace. even fewer can do it with this level of safety.

Most people generally use this in combination with the dragon runewords to stack holy fire aura.

I like to build characters around items or skills, I think its a very fun thing to do. You pick a skill and you go I am going to make a character that uses this skill, or you find an item and you go I want to make a character that utilizes this item. and then you have to problem solve to make it work. It's very fun.

I love auradins. Can you do a hybrid build with holy fire/holy shock HoJ + Dragon armor for lvl 30 holy fire Dream helm and shield for lvl 30 holy shock Expensive build i know but its kinda what I want to run in the new ladder and I wanna see it in action before i commit

This build is an absolute solo cow machine, just walk and collect the drops very op, but also very expensive. very easy to make a bot from this set up. i know they are out there

The low durability on the berserker axe is concerning... tempted going into phase blade just because of that, even if losing a point in range.

Berserker's axe and collosus blade are the same range but of course I only barbarian can single hand a CB.

GGM, would you mind looking into something for me? In the first round of PTR testing, I've noticed that the spawned hydras from dragon behave very oddly - and now, in your video, they do too. As far as I can tell, they should be lasting for 10 seconds each, however, I noticed that even if you spawn them one after the other, they disappear at the same time. And in your video, especially when you are fighting the cows, sometimes you cast a hydra, which immediately disappears, without having fully emerged. What gives? Has anyone even made Blizzard aware of this? Now of course, at level 15 and unsynergized, you're gonna get like 120-150 damage per fire bolt, so this bug (if it is one) is not hypercritical, but I say, it's damage nonetheless.

Check at 23:19 for instance, when you're fighting the last living cow of that particular group, you cast hydra, then it's gone instantly again. I there something I'm not seeing? Though even if non-sorceresess have a shorter duration than sorceresess (for whatever reason) still I don't feel like they should disappear so quickly.

what is with the pala shield dragonscale? ... i have a question: Absorb elemental damage like rising sun i get healed.. so i get also with Cyclone (druid) armor???

So easy to answer : Rising sun is a peace of equipment that you wear on the body and inherit the powers within ( theoratically). With cyclone armor it's a spell you cast around you it doesn't touch the druid at all..So therefore it's more than logic that Rising sun heals you and Cyclone armor does not.

Absorb will block the damage stated and then heal you for the same amount. Cyclone armor only blocks the damage.

The runeword needs to be in the exact order yes, and the base needs to have the exact same number of sockets.

You would have two auras, the holy Fire would be a bit on the weak side without the third item but it would still work.

Turn off auras n swap, walk around n herd all cattle together, THEN swap w conviction and Wala.. You've successfully changed D2R into Cowboy Slaughterhouse! End game is brainstorming w-t-h your going to do with 3 million pounds of burnt beef..

If two paladins both have might and the highest works and the other is canceled. If a paladin is using might and he has a last wish which also has my aura on it the native Aura supersedes the items aura. If you have two items that have might the two items combine to make a higher level if they are wielded by the same person. For instance if you were a barbarian and you had two last wishes on then your might Aura would combine from both of them to make a higher level. That is the way that hand of Justice and the two dragons work is that the level of the aura from all three items combine. They do not however combine with the paladin's native holy Fire aura.

One of the runewords that are done only by people who buy their runes from internet, or trades for them dirt cheap from people who bought them from internet. Everybody in the forums and in these comments swim with HR's that some chinese people have grinded out and sold them for cents to an online shop. Disgusting. On the other hand, i love my self found Enigma! Now i need to find 2 bers and stuff for infi. Playing non-ladder so time is not a limiting factor.
