I bet you he also won the hearts of everyone else in the world. I live in USA and this was the first time I have ever watched the full Eurovision contest. I enjoyed it, but I was shocked to find out he got disqualified. I love Joost’s performance. I would have gotten my vote.

By disqualifying Joost from participating in the final, the EBU declared him guilty even before the police investigation was completed. Talk about decent standards of behaviour.... Besides, if this anonymous (!) camerawoman had simply respected other people's boundaries (something she herself, as a woman, probably shouts the loudest in life... hashtag metoo), none of this would have even happened. What I love about this clip is that it shows the millisecond perfect timing of such a production. From the crew setting everything up to the dancers coming on mid song. Not even talking about the camera cues etc. amazing.
