Dat komt omdat die regels voor dat soort woorden ook erg vaak gewijzigd worden. En dan durft men de leerlingen in het onderwijs nog het eerst te verwijten dat ze steeds minder goed zijn in lezen, schrijven en rekenen. De overheid en het onderwijssysteem zijn daar zelf verantwoordelijk voor, maar wijzen graag naar diegenen die zich er toch niet tegen kunnen verweren. Dat is wat de arrogantie van de macht onder andere inhoudt.

A song in a language that a lot do not speak, but feel. Uniting, everybody through a song. Who ever did this at a song contest? Everybody singing, dancing, feeling the vibe how special the magic of Joost is. And after the dance and hey explosion, the silence for his words to his parents. We all understand it, so in tears we join as well. Do you all realize how amazing this is? Have you ever seen anything like this? I haven’t!

Well said! And he is one of the very few that really tried to make a true Eurovision song, not only because of the title but he used so many different elements. Also what he says about a world without borders. I love 💙 the song and Joost Klein makes me proud to be Dutch 🇳🇱 Douze points 🎽

I'm so proud of our Joost, he made Europa dance and sing AND come together. Sadly enough it's not what ebu and the sponsor wanted. The images make me happy, but also make me cry. Still. His lawyer told us Joost feels desperate and sad. That breaks my heart. Please send Joost some love 💙💙💙💙💙

By disqualifying Joost from participating in the final, the EBU declared him guilty even before the police investigation was completed. Talk about decent standards of behaviour.... Besides, if this anonymous camerawoman had simply respected other people's boundaries (something she herself, as a woman, probably shouts the loudest in life... hashtag metoo), none of this would have even happened. This is true Eurovision spirit! Regardless of your nationality and differences (regardless of whether you have a disability, whether you are LBGT, non-binary, hetero, religious beliefs or political preferences), in Eurovision what really matters is enjoying the event to the fullest, that is the true purpose of those who watch Eurovision live, It’s about putting differences aside and enjoying the moment that Eurovision offers! This is an example that Eurovision takes place outside in the arena, it is very beautiful to see these people sing and dance in tune and on top of that a song in Dutch, a language little spoken around the world, I confess watching this video made me miss Lisbon 2018, When I went to Eurovillge with my sister, there was exactly that atmosphere, everyone was singing and dancing and they were watching and it was incredible to see and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! I think Eurovision is one of the few events on an international scale that manages to bring together so many people to enjoy, enjoy the show they are watching! Nowadays. Since there is a lot of political and social division in the world and wars, it is totally essential that there is a cultural event like Eurovision that brings so many people together in the same place! and I think that's why I'm a Eurofan and why I'm attracted to following this wonderful event that I've enjoyed so much for almost 20 years!❤

Dat er tijdens het refrein door niet-Nederlands sprekende mensen wordt meegezongen is begrijpelijk, want het is eenvoudig gemaakt voor dat doel. Maar volgens mij hoorde ik tijdens de raps ook enkele mensen meedoen, dus ik denk dat daar ook nog een aantal Nederlanders tussen staan. Het is niet de allermoeilijkste taal om te leren, maar de uitspraak is wel een flinke hindernis voor velen. En ook dat ging hier tijdens de raps goed bij de lastigere zinnen. Er stonden dus hoe dan ook een aantal Nederlanders (en Belgen) tussen.

Zeker! Hetzij niet in grote getale. Maar kan best zijn dat het rap stuk inderdaad Nederlanders waren. Bij refrein ging iedereen los. Ik genoot ook wel van dat meisje met die Kroatië vlag vlak voor de camera. Vol enthousiasme uit haar dak het hele liedje.
