I don't intend to point fingers at anyone but the riding gear he was wearing was really inadequate for the kind of bike he was on. SMK helmet, entry level Rynox jacket , entry level semi mesh gloves, just jeans without knee guards and doesn't seem like he was wearing riding boots either. If you have a bike capable of doing 250+, you should be investing in nothing less than the absolute best riding gear that's available in the market and I am sure you'll agree with that too. I am partially guilty of the same mistake myself since I am compensating with knee guards instead of buying proper riding pants, but will fix that ASAP. Hope he recovers swiftly and gets a proper riding gear set on priority.

Agreed! Least he could have done is bought an Smk titan as stellar models are entry level helmets meant for lower cc bikes. Best he could have done is put some big investment in Helmets and gears

Ninja 1000 suspesion is very soft and suspension travel is also big so rebond will be big and many of them will not be able to control that rebind impact Anyways i wish that person to recover very soon And also i recommend superbike suspension should a lil harder side it is very good for the bike and for us also

TBH, I felt the Ninja should have handled this better. Considering it's a sports touring bike, it's meant to be handling bad roads for smoother rides and to bit of bumpy roads as well. Even though the suspension is on the softer side and suspension travel is more, the suspension should have been back to its original position considering there was a little gap between these bumps that we had encountered. It's always better to have to set the suspension on the harder side for our kind of roads. Usually, it's hard on most of the liter-class bikes.

@@Triple_RushI think setting it too hard can be counterproductive as the bike jumps straightaway without any rebound of the shock absorber. In all probability, he hasn’t set his suspension to his weight - this is crucial. As you mentioned earlier, finish your braking and then attack the mud/bump. My duke 390 was on the stock stiff setting for the longest time and I got it to a balance between hard and soft and it’s working wonders on both city and highway, else it would throw you up or transfer to your back.
