We must check all these while taking delivery... I used to even check Tyre company and choose the good one, as bike companies are usually tied up with many tyre manufacturers for same brand of motorcycles..

Nowadays I also experienced these kind of mistakes while delivering the new motorcycles by RE dealerships. Especially with Himalayan 450s. Damaged tanks, bent handlebars and bent exhausts.

Same thing was happend for my friend with New Royal Enfield Classic 350! The R.E. dealer was mistakely swapped & delivered both new bikes for different owners, the delivery of both bikes was on the same day. My friend and another owner had ridden their bike around 600kms, later when my friend went for 1st service with a new bike, showroom informed about their mistake happend and then the other owner & my friend sadly has to exchange their new bikes with themselves. So this is really very irresponsible with some R.E. dealers.

Very very useful information shared brother..i just realised that i too faced this kind of issue when i purchased my fitst bike(pulsar 150) in 2008, after 2days they asked me to come to store along with keys as something urgent.., they took the bike inside and returned me other new bike..since i was very busy at office work i did not understand the whole drama..but now it is cleared because of you brother.. thanks for sharing ❤ keep rocking!

Here insurance, RTO receipt everything was matching but the delivered vehicle was wrong, The right vehicle which matched the chassis number was still at the showroom. So, it seems like we only need to carry the checklist before taking the delivery of the vehicle.

Showroom avrge helidrunu sariyagi nodilla. And delivery kododunu nanig kushiaaglilla avru final wash madi outside tandu nilsidru aste.. yavdo washing ge kottu tagond bandang aitu gaadi na. Delivery kottang anuslilla. But bidi gaadi chanagidre saaku aste 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Showroom avru hinge bro. Innond customer du N160 book madidru but showroom had booked NS160 in their name. So irresponsible. When they got the RTO documents and insurance documents before delivery, then those showroom guys realised and they were saying they will sort out in a week 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ All this hungama in Amba Bajaj (GB palya branch), Bangalore. Before Vehicle is delivered , everyone should keep an eye of Vin , chassis number of your own vehicle.... cross match with the details in the bills with the vehicle to avoid such confusion....dealers are not really concerned about customers once ur money has reached the wallet of the dealer.

Had a 2022 411 which i sold recently after 41000 km. While doing my PDI during delivery noticed that the bike sent for registration was not the one i had picked. They had just brought the old one polished and as it is. Rejected and asked them to refund the amount with interest by threatening consumer court action, then they agreed to give next lot bike which was arriving that evening. Later, spelling mistake in name in RC. 5 months to get the corrected RC, then lot of trouble with vibrations, speedometer inside console got damaged at highway vibration...bhenchods have a lot to improve. This is without any modification to the bike no exhaust no air filter no fuelx.
