DA40 Full VFR Flight Sitia to Heraklion - GoPro Hero 9 Cockpit View & ATC

Күн бұрынCome with me in this Diamond to fly along the coastline of Crete, from the easternmost airport of Sitia to Heraklion, Kazatzakis Intl. Weather in places like Crete and Rhodes can be extremely variable sometimes. The day of this flight was a day like this, just note how was the weather over Sitia (almost blue skies) while at Heraklion it was as it should for a day in the middle of December, clouds with a little darker day. A short VFR flight flown mostly on autopilot.

Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ για τα καλά λόγια. Χαίρομαι που σου άρεσε. Από την επόμενη θα μιλάω δυνατά και στα Checklist. Βασικά πρέπει κανονικά αλλά όταν είμαι μόνος είναι λίγο περίεργο. Όπως και να χει δεσμεύομαι από την επόμενη, δυνατά callouts και στα Checklist!

Α ωραία μια χαρά.. Όχι Ρόδο είμαι ακόμα, είχα έρθει για τις γιορτές και δεν γύρισα ακόμα. Πρέπει να κάνω το δικινητήριο τώρα, το οποίο θέλει κάποιες μέρες να βγει από τη συντήρηση. Μόλις βγει θα έρθω..

At times I intentionally avoid the centerline at LGIR, because the surface there is not in good state and it is not the best for our tires!!

Το ήξερε η εταιρεία. Δεν ήταν σοβαρό πρόβλημα και οι μηχανικοί είπαν ότι μπορεί να πετάει κανονικά. Το είχε επιτρέψει και ο κατασκευαστής. Το ίδιο πρόβλημα είχαν πολλά αεροπλάνα της ίδιας σειράς. Καλή η παρατήρησή σου πάντως.

It is the official suction cup mount of GoPro. The best on the market. Thank you for watching my videos!

@@theplanesnet thanks for the reply and for the great videos. I just noticed that you only attached it over the wing after landing. Did you try having it mounted during flight?

During flight no. I am not taking the risk of losing my camera. The suction cup is really good and can stand the speeds we develop but just to be sure. After finishing with the Flight Instructor rating, I am on the way now, more similar videos will come and maybe an Instagram account for pictures.
