Passive-aggressive, blunt, and just outright rude. Sure she may be a hard worker but you can't dog on a new employee like that on their first day, you'll just make them want to quit.

This girl was incredibly rude. If my first day had gone like that I would have walked out. She didn’t deserve anything.

Nice and heart-warming, but Jesse needs to learn to be more patient with her new employees. She shouldn't expect the new employee to be just as fast as she is or one of the seasoned veteran workers.

She’s didn’t deserve this her attitude is shocking. If she worked for me and treated a new employee like that she’d be out the door.

I worked in fast food for 4 years, and this is exactly the kind of thing that happens. The worst people with the worst attitude but is regarded as a "hard worker" gets a promotion and a raise. I saw it way too many times.

Okay, he's the boss and his job is different. But corporate decision makers should work the various positions of their company to give them some vital perspective to make fully informed decisions.

I would have fired her

So at what point did he take her aside and tell her she's a terrible manager? Bad ending, disliked. >:(

It's pretty ridiculous to expect someone to be so fast at making sandwiches their very first day. She's rude and she was probably the reason a lot of people would quit. No one wants a mean and nasty boss. She's power struck.

Being a strict boss is one thing... Being a pretentious, disrespectful jerk with an attitude is something completely different.

This is beyond disconcerting. He was treated with respect and compassion by Ms. Sherri and he only gave her $5K and a spa day. Jessi was a rude and terrible manager to him, and he pays off her college and sends her on a holiday. I guess it's obvious the kind of management style he wants to see in Subway.

She deserved to be fired not all of that reward. She's rude, self centered and patronising

"My objective is to break you. 'Cause if I can break you, I don't need you" As a Subway employee, I would not wanna work for a person who expects 1000% from an employee who doesn't know how to do the job yet from day 1. The way she's running the store, she's not training the new employee (aka the undercover boss), she's telling him: "You get to work right now, and make those sandwiches right, or your fired"

Most bosses don't have a clue how their businesses really work. Like this boss, people in charge haven't been in their front lines of their businesses in so long it's not funny! They sit in their offices all day and have little or no contact with their own employees who are actually doing the actual work!

On what planet does she think she's being helpful? If her job is to "break" you, then she's gonna have a long, hard road ahead of her. Kinda sad.

I get how she sees the job to do it quickly, but a little patient and not such a stern face can help any new employee feel a little more at ease rather than a target

To bad he didnt buy her some sympathy and compassion and a sense of humor. I would never go to a subway if I saw someone get treated like that. But I dont go to subway anyway, its nasty.
