As a preeminent expert on the science of awe, he does a masterful job demystifying this powerful emotion and unpacking how it both elevates us and grounds us. What did this? Just an idea, i had hearing Prof. Keltner talking about the special compentence that makes a difference between humans and other animals: Yuval Noah Harari wrote in his book "A Brief History of Mankind" that the unique competence of humans is to have social exchange about things, that don't exist. So we can speculate about possibilities and invent stories, myths and religions. In my point of view myths could be the ground for awe, or there is a deep connection between the two concepts. What do you think about this idea?
