In the lone Charles Mintz-produced (and Columbia Pictures-released) entry that was modeled from Krazy Kat's creator George Herriman's original designs, Ignatz Mouse devises several means of hurling bricks at Krazy, who considers this a term of affection. Besides Ignatz, Offissa Bull Pupp and Mrs. Kwakk Wakk also make their only Mintz-era appearances. Perhaps this cartoon suffered from an overdose of bricks, as the series reverted to its' 1930s-era Mickey Mouse-influenced format afterward, even though the backgrounds and animation were very well done. Ben Harrison, who handled the story, and Manny Gould, who was in charge of the animation, which was largely done by the uncredited Isadore Klein, were the cartoon's uncredited co-directors with music by Joe De Nat.
