honestly i absolutely agree with you! Old cars seems old but look very fun to drive! Now modern cars is full of cars with automatic transmission and millions of useless screens that ends your car battery,and automatic transmission sucks and it's not fun to drive with it lol

Had this for few weeks as a courtesy car and loved it to bits. Reminded me old times with Skoda Favorit, just brand new and safer. Sandero II is simple for the better. It's super light with soft and compliant suspension, all of which actually makes it sporty for keen drivers (and also crosswind-sensitive as a downside). You don't need to slow down on any road and most of city retarders :-) You can play with balance, feel the grip of each wheel well and even induce oversteer with ease. Sadly the ESP can't be disabled, only defused :-) Power is low, but the short gearing helps tremendously in utilizing it all at any time. Despite being EU6 compliant the engine has great throttle reaction. This enables you to shift quickly and revmatch precisely on downshifts. So much better than modern VW (VAG) 1.0 MPI. Cherish your great little car, it presents best driving fun outside of actual sportscars;)

Borrowed the car once again in the meantime and I am certain that Sandero II would have a honorable spot right next to 997.2 GT3RS in my eventual lottery winning garage :-) I would need to source a few spare gearboxes though. Even with spot on double clutched revmatches the transmission was giving me occasional signals of unpleasure when downshifting to 6000 RPM :-)

if it's meant to be driven around town, biggest mistake is to buy diesel. And if you really plan to drive lots od miles, do you really want to in a car like this?

@@extracoolboy Yes, yes and yes . Now, let me get YOUR facts straight, i have a 1.5 dCI with the 2014 version of this car. Its one of the best / most fiable engines from the Renault Group. It has enought torque to push you when you try to overtake, but the engine is small enought to keep the taxes low, and the fuel consumption is also absurdly low ( i have about 5.2-5.5 consumption on mine still after 7 years, and also mind you i don't drive "softly") , additionally the maintenance on it is extremely cheap. So i'd dare to say Dacia is one of the best brands of cars that gives you the moste value for you money in Europe (atleast in comparison to everything else on the market now, and i'm talking about new cars, not used).

It's not so powerful the 2021 the same engine 1.0 sce due to filter particle addition to.meet polution requirements. Because of that instead of 73 HP it has 65 HP.

Ramai cu aia. Când Dacia o sa aibă preț de pornire de la 20.000 de euro atunci o sa poți comenta, nu știu când o sa putem înțelege niște lucruri simple. Îți convine bine nu, tot bine ce atâta în deal și în vale unu când își ia o dacie noua 5 ani îl doare undeva tu în 5 ani o sa mai schimbi ceva la cadavrul tău din 2005. Locuiesc în UK și ăștia de aici pe simple rate își pot permite cu 28£pe săptămână mașina de la 2013 in sus, de ce își iau Dacia de noua? De prosti ce is..

Souhlasím, měl jsem ho půjčené jako náhradní vozidlo a je to Škoda Favorit v novém hávu. Lehoučké, se slabým ale perfektně reagujícím motorem, který jde díky krátkým převodům neustále držet ve varu. Podvozek naprosto top na naše rozmlácené cesty, prostě hravý jako Favorit, čirá telecí radost z řízení.

@@youoshd un bonito coche con un motor 12 válvulas muy alegre. Te aseguro que en España, yo soy de Madrid, la gente no se asusta por subir el motor a 6000 rpm. Lo que pasa es que, con tanto motor turbo de curva de par plana gasolina y diésel, la gente se ha acostumbrado a pisar el acelerador y que el turbo le solucione la papeleta. Yo que he tenido coches como el 205 Rallye, el Golf MK2 1.8 GTI 16V o el Nissan Primera 2.0 GT de 150 CV, sé que a un buen atmosférico hay que "hacerle respirar bien" para que no tenga bronquitis....y no pasa na....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. @@davidcasas3862 puede ser que tengas razón con lo de los turbo también me han dicho que revoluciono mucho el coche😂. El caso es que, con 84 cv a 5500 rpm, si no le llevas alegre no vas a ningún sitio 😂. Antes solo había llevado diesel, un 308 de la autoescuela y una picasso de un familiar, y claro, de repente me encuentro haciendo incorporaciones a autopista en las que tengo que bajar a segunda y se me hace un coche divertidisimo.
