Same here. I love how they instantly get all the colors right. They seem to know them, but only from situations with perfect conditions and never next to each other. Then comes the whole symphony at once an they are able to see and enjoy it all.

I love how everybody who puts these glasses on does the same thing. They don them, are blown away, amazed, flabbergasted, stunned, boggled, then lift them up to view without them for a couple seconds. I think that is the best. For those of us who are not colorblind, we just take it for granted all the colors we have. These are a quite a development.

I got my first pair of hearing aids in 1992 at the age of 32, left the Doctors got in my car put the turn signal on and said what the hell is that noise it was the turn signal making the noise.

I am guessing that darker yellows look green to him because there's a component of red in the yellow to darken it. Because he is red/green color blind the red would wash out in the yellow and appear muddy.

Question are people born color blind or do it just develop later? I'm asking because I've seen several videos like this and once the glasses are on the person knew the colors they were seeing.

From what I understand, it's a spectrum (some people don't see red/green, some people see very little color at all etc) and it seems to shift depending on the light? So for some people, colors appear better in strong daylight, for instance. I'm guessing that's why the man in the video says that he's only seen the colors before at times, which is why he recognises them.

colorblind people are always born with it, as the person before said its a spectrum. in older people (adults) they have grown used to not being able to see maybe colors but certain shades. if a person is fully colorblind, they'll see different shades of grey that, as they grow older, they will be able to match with colors other people see. example: a lighter shade of grey means bright pink, a darker shade could be blue, etc. Basically some people match the color with a shade of another to cope. people just are able to match certain shades with colors bc thats what people tell them it is

Everytime I see these videos white families always messing up either beckys saying ""THEIR SPECIAL GLASSES FOR SEEING"" or giving grandpa a colors book before the glasses😂 like if i was him ida taken offence at first😂
