Biggie switching his flow to mesh with bone, bizzys flow and range, going high to low, "beg my pardon to Martin, we ain't marching we shooting". Krays speed and layzies delivery, along with the production and hook makes it absolutely timeless.

Biggie’s ‘life after death’ was released March 25, 1997. Just sixteen (16) days after he was killed. So so sad, Biggie is so very missed ❤️ Also, the guys of Bone Thugs n’ Harmony didn’t get to hear Big’s verse until after he died and his album was released. “Life after death” was a double album because about six months before his death Big, Lil’ Cease, and Charli Baltimore (a female rapper Big was dating when he died) were in a really bad car accident. Cease lost control of a rental car in the rain and the car spun out onto the other side of the highway and flipped several times. Cease (was driving) lost most of, if not all of his front teeth from smashing his mouth into the steering wheel and was thrown out of the car. Charli was partially thrown out of the car, she landed on the hood with a head injury which split her scalp open and a huge flap was hanging (they were able to stitch it up but she said if she ever had to shave her head, that it is a very large and nasty looking scar, but she thankfully was okay, no brain damage) and Big was front seat passenger and his leg got crushed under the dash board and they had to use the jaws of life to get him out. Big’s leg was broken in several places and he had to stay in the hospital/rehabilitation unit after having surgery to place plates & screws to fix his leg. So in that two months of doing physical therapy after surgery he just wrote and wrote. Big’s leg was still messed up when he was in California (before his death) and that is why he walked with a cane. Some Cali people were irritated by it thinking he was using it to look like a pimp or something because they didn’t know he had been in an accident. I don’t think any of his family, friends, or fans would want Big to be in a nasty car accident like he was, but it always made me think, what if he hadn’t been in the accident!?! ‘Life after death’ would’ve been a regular 10ish song album and he would’ve died before we heard some of the most amazing and classic Biggie songs! -some of Big’s people said the accident happened 24-48 hours after Big found out Tupac died. That Big was really upset over his death and was smoking and acting the fool, and ended up getting arrested and their vehicle towed. The car they got out of the tow impound was messed up so they took it to the dealer to be fixed and was given the rental (that they ended up crashing) to drive in the meantime.

I'm jealous of the relationship between you and your pops. It appears you actually understand how amazing it is yourself Young man. I'm going to keep watching

I have this song on my car and listen to it everyday and open my windows up to show everybody that this type of songs are untouchable and a timeless classics that can't be touched, the 90's was the best era for hip hop and rap. I play the song loud when I open my windows.

This was a fire one for sure. The natural follow up to this gotta be thug luv. I love both but i cant lie, the composition and delivery in thug luv is one of the most rememberable moments of that era. I was teen living in sweden when this came out and i was banging this so hard i had track on repeat in my walkman, recorded back to back thru the entire cassettetape 💪

Love the channel, especially when you guys react to the GOATs like Tupac, Bone Thugs, Nas, etc... if you guys continue doing BTNH I feel like 'Days Of Our Lives', 'If I Could Teach The World' would go over well with Kai's dad. Krayzie Bone's solo music such as 'Thug Mentality' or 'It's All Real' (from 'Art Of War') would also be dope!

Bone laid their verses on the spot after being drunk and high. They had to wake them up to record. Biggie took it home. Bone didn't hear the finished product until after biggie passed.
