I had my wife help me with the camera this time since there were quite a few steps. :0)
Red Dead, Red Good, Black Good, Black Ground (dead).
The blue tool I show in the video is called a "battery terminal cleaner", and you can find them at any auto parts store, although they may look a little different than mine.
You could also use a wire brush, but this is specifically meant for batteries.
I mention that a battery will last 6 to 12 years, and have had a few comments on that.
I have had batteries last 12 years, but there are lots of different factors for how long your battery will last. On average I would say it is probably closer to 6 years in my experience. (Climate is a huge factor, so you may only get 3 years in certain environments).
Interstate makes a great battery in my opinion.

I’m turning 18 in a few days and to be honest I don’t think anything can substitute a dad. I realise now that I probably will never really NEED one again, I did when I was younger, and there is nothing in the world that can buy back those years that were robbed from me. I have spent the last two to three years starting to question a lot about my childhood and what my father did and I really lost all hope in having a father figure. I found this channel a few days ago and I cried, because you have given me hope, although you can’t replace my dad, you have given me much comfort knowing that there are good fathers around. Your children are the luckiest in the world. You have put more effort into my childhood than my dad. Thank you so much. The world needs more fathers like you:)

I have a dad and he taught me most of these things. Unfortunately, we're all getting older and the time is fast-approaching where I'll have to be the one to take care of him. Everyone has a father, but not everyone has a dad. I'm one of those lucky enough. To those who are likewise lucky, cherish them as long and as often as you can. To those who are not as lucky, bless this man for making life a little bit easier.
