@@roryconnaughton2398 By the time dads and the like were picking up in popularity the sound had been so over played imo. Maybe it's not really the sound that's so bad but more so that there were so many bands playing the same crap in FACGDB after listening to never meant for the first time. Mundane open chords, awful yelping vocals, and uninspired tapping. Algernon had novelty half a decade prior to this, but wew the jangly twinkle guitar rock was putting me to sleep at this point.

@@roryconnaughton2398 Of course listen to what you like. I just remember having to hear at least one band that sounded like this everytime I went to a show from 2012-2016. Also, I don't remember leaving that comment so don't mind my drunk hostility lool.
