I committed my life to Jesus Christ in March of 1977. I was an avid music fan: southern rock, blues, classic rock, etc. In searching for Christian music to listen to, my first purchase of Christian music was an album by this woman. Sure, it's not rock, blues, or even country, but the depth of spirit in this woman's music and the power in her voice helped me make that transition. Later I found such bands as 2nd Chapter of Acts, The Bridge, Phil Cagey, Mylon and Broken Heart, DeGarmo and Key, etc., etc. But for me, it started with this woman; marvelous and powerful. I will always appreciate her for it. Love you Ms. Vestal. Hope to see you up there in that City.
