@@Elvis__TCB It has of course 60 years ago. Moma and her were good friends. She was a sweet woman ,Vestal was. We kind of lost contact in the in 70's when they moved to a different town. They traveled a lot.

@@IsaacNussbaum That was until Jesus died on the cross for us, so you're taking that out of context. Before Jesus died so that we may be saved, everyone who now goes to heaven would have went to a place called Abraham's Bosom, but now that Jesus paid the price, we choose either heaven or hell. But it's not as easy as just "choosing", but you'd have to act accordingly. Read your Bible more.

P.S. I just ran across this verse, Josh. I think that you will find it interesting. _"Wonder not at this, because there doth come an hour in which all those in the tombs shall hear his voice, and they shall come forth; those who did the good things to a rising again_ *OF LIFE,* _and those who practised the evil things to a rising again of_ *JUDGMENT.* (John 5:28-29, Young's Literal Translation) Note several things here. 1) Jesus is talking about a future time ON EARTH. 2) The dead are ON EARTH, too. 3) At that time Jesus will give the righteous life. That means that before that time they were not alive. They were not in Heaven rollerblading on streets of gold. They were in the grave. Dead. 4) And, at that time, Jesus will raise the unrighteous to judgment. Obviously, they were not in Hell because, prior to this event, they had not yet faced judgement. _"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad."_ See, the wicked are not punished until AFTER the judgment seat of Christ.
