Liam Cooper is not the player he once was (everybody slows with age) but he has been a great servant to the club and is a man of integrity who gives his all and knows what loyalty means. I had hoped he may move into a coaching role but sadly it seems he will move on, but he will do so with my very best wishes. I hope we can hold on to one or both of Summerville and Gnonto. To lose them both would be damaging unless some quality signings we don’t yet know about are lined up.

Misinformation and disinformation are concepts that allow for lazy views and opinions. Fact checking means instant outrage has to wait. People don't want that, they want to be able to give instant reaction. Even if the info is pie in the sky. It's the way of the world! Archie is 18 Yr old and I would assume that when he negotiated his long term contract at Leeds, his family and agent had input. Hence, the clause allowing to take the option to leave was family based. So, you could argue that putting a clause in a long term contract doesn't show a 'here until I die' approach. However, as fans we tend not to want to discuss that aspect. No one wanted him to go. Archie chose to leave. By doing so, it helped Leeds PSR situation. I for one, wish him all the best. Sometimes diversity of thought is suppressed with sentiment and emotion. In cases like this, and before knowing the facts means c.95% of people end up eating humble pie. An opinion of course!

Disagree with your take on Kamara, he seemed to move the ball backward more than he did forward. Super nice human being, but very very average football from him last season. Ampadu in that role would have been more effective.

With respect Ger, this is obvious PR from the club in respect to tensions between the Gray’s and the club. They’re feeding the YEP this info. Especially when the athletic article yesterday stated it did cause frustration with the Grays. The move to spurs rather than Brentford may have smoothed things over for now so everyone plays nice. But that doesn’t mean the tension wasn’t there. The club are are playing the PR game, it’s slightly naive to take everything as face value. With regards to things coming of Waccoe you were a bit dismissive of the rumour coming off there Even though it was Waccoe that broke the news the move was on to Brentford 2 days before the YEP asked the club. So it’s not too much of a stretch to believe that the person leaking it, had a fair idea of the situation, just because the club are on the PR offensive to play it down doesn’t mean it’s wasn’t true. I guess my point is just because that person has a funny username on a forum it shouldn’t just be classed as lies.
