Love Third Strike's character artwork. My favorite.

he doesnt "just play" he practices for hours against different playstyles and chars all the time, inviting people over from foreign countries to practice against, like a professional boxer or soccer team. he is pro, on top of his skill he still had to strive for it, deserving of his title.

Daigo is a very good player. When he gets annoyed, he's unstoppable. His comboing and parrying skills are hilarious to watch. I bet the developers must be really impressed by his skills. He's also very unpredictable, he will use an attack stream as long as the opponent does not know how to handle/counter it. After that he just something completely different.

Out of all the Street Fighter Games, 3rd Strike is still the one that Baffles the Hell out of me when I watch hi-level matches. The Parrying is 100% Psychic. Its amazing how well people have mastered this game.

3rd Strike...What a wonderful piece of gaming. Such a deep fighting game which requires the up most dedication to perfect. This is my favorite SF game of all time.

I don't play Street Fighter regularily at all (although I really like fighting games). But it's always so fascinating to see people at the best of their abillities, regarding what they are good at. Thanks for the show! :)

The reaction time is memory reflex or muscle reflex. He knew what to input unlike normal people like us. Takes countless of practice to do what he did there.

People seem to dislike Daigo because he has so many fans. Sadly alot of them are seriously irrational. So if Daigo actually lose a match they would say something like "that is not daigo" because he wasn't playing right or etc. People forget the fact that he is human and he makes errors like everyone else. And regardless of that he is still becoming better.

3:49 AHHH THIRD STRIKE!
@blokeroy13 жыл бұрын
@maytinkerblast Because it's HARD to get to the level they're at. Take 5:59 as an example. Daigo parried an attack (which requires tenth-of-a-second timing, everyone has that), did a normal(one button press, basic), cancled into a Shoryuken (a zigzag on the joystick, BUT he had to do it in 1/30 OF A SECOND OR LESS), and then CANCLED THAT INTO A SHIPPU JINRAI KYAKU (he had to roll his joystick a quarter of a circle to the right TWICE IN LESS THAN 1/30 OF A SECOND!)! All that in 1 second! Insane!

obs: I love kof and snk games,especially 97,98 and 2k2, samurai shodown, fatal fury series and more, these games made part of my teenager years, but SF its technically superior, kof matches are so predictable...and the only game of the franchise with some 'innovation'(kof xIII that I particularly dont like, with EX moves) was ripped from SF third strike (cancel moves into supers too!) Just my opinion and sorry for my bad english.

The console version was broken in a way seeing as how when you have done just about everything, you can customize your own grove with no limits so you can have parries, just defense, evade rolls, etc. You name it.

Well the reason why they got rid of parries on IV, is because it is set between II and III. They wanted to give IV that in between feel. Being somewhat technical and yet simplistic at the same time. That and the fact that many believed III was extremely technical but I do agree with you. It does bring out the best competition. But overall, that was the reason.

The only dying any board does if maybe a small resistor or another part becoming worn and falling out of place. These kind of issues can be fixed easily.
@ninjasification13 жыл бұрын
@blokeroy its like this- parry(by pressing "forward") then press "down," and then diagonal DF+punch(shoryuken), then do 1/4 circle+kick. this will give you the entire combo. Some people don't realize it's NOT like this- forward, zigzag+punch, 1/4 circle, 1/4 circle+punch. It's more like THIS- "forward(parry)then 1/4 circle+punch(shoryuken)then 1/4 circle+kick(super art) Daigo is really good but I know some people don't know exactly how it works
@gold326330113 жыл бұрын
@ShinOnigashima Meh, I thought they were talking about the one around 1:30. :/ But no, it's still possible to cancel an LP SRK into super because there are frames where the enemy is still on the ground. It's not like cancelling Ryu's SRK into his Shinku Hadoken, because that super does not have a 1 frame start up. Ken's Super III does.

The battery on the Cps3 security cartridge is suppost to die after a while, Rendering the board uplayable. Unless you get a new battery and someone to install it, you can't play it. Are these batteries easily accesible? Do many people install them?

@maytinkerblast This is so true, its not like Daigo can't be beaten. once I fought him and he was tough but I had to remember that if you can calculate what your opponent is gonna do next and you can intercept that, you can easily own them with mindgames.
