I went to the electronics show in San Antonio where they showed off SF2CE for the first time. (You had to be an employee of the industry to get in; I pretended to work for a local arcade.) They had about 20 machines set up in a square arrangement. The game at that stage had a bug that caused Dictator's psycho crusher to occasionally loop indefinitely when blocked. When one of the Japanese attendees saw this in action, his jaw hit the floor.

To easily beat M.Bison at the end, my father taught back when I was kid (90'), just move to side of the stage, don't matter which one, keep neutral jumping and H.Kick. CPU don't know how to react to this so most of the time will get hit. Works better with Blanka

Its kinda confusing, what I do know is that SNES versions of SFII were SFII The World's Warriors, SFII Turbo and SSFII The New Challengers. In SFII Turbo you have access to yhe option you meant before but I don't know if that game counts as a Championship Edition I think SFII Turbo for SNES is the homologue of SFII Hyper Fighting for Arcade as the same way SFII Special CE for MegaDrive is the homologue of SFII CE for Arcade.

@@runitback5066 exactly! It amazes me how many of the comments here think that psycho crusher spam worked in 2 player vs! To clarify - the 'banned' sequence in this video is crouching medium punch, standing heavy kick, scissor kick (aka knee press). You can repeat it and, if timed right, doesn't let an opponent respond. Spamming psycho crusher is just a lazy way to beat bad ai and terrible human players.

@xxxxSylphxxxx
@xxxxSylphxxxx 2 жыл бұрын
7 hit redizzy? You mean cross-up fly kick, 3x crouching light punch, standing light punch, knee press? If so, it's not really used... He has combos that do more damage and stun. (and redizzy isn't really a thing when the second combo is a ko). I think the better combo is something like cross flying kick, crouching medium punch, standing heavy kick, knee press. He can also do double standing light kick, crouching light kick, standing medium (or heavy?)... That one doesn't need charge, but the last link is really difficult. A 7 hit redizzy? I'm unfamiliar with one that is useful... Which are you talking about?

His psycho crusher in CE is bs but once you got used to block it as it crosses up most of the cast could punish the recovery. The scissors knee is a lot harder to counter but there is a brief moment, just as he begins to flip ,when a fast standing lp will hit him out of the air. It's easier said than done since the window is very small and failure almost always mean death but it's doable. His air stomp can always be escaped by jumping backwards with an early air normal as long as you are not in the corner. But even if you deal with his specials his standing hk alone is enough to make him top tier and easily one of the most broken moves in SF history. Think SF5 Karin's standing hk with better range and completely safe on block.

Daigo is surprised because psycho crusher hits 3 or 4 times vs Blanka if blocked. He’s playing the Japanese version…in the World rom version Dictator hits up to 6 TIMES if Blanka and some others block it. At least they kind of nerf’d Bison for Japan, but not for the rest of the world.

Did they create that move after watching the fist of the north star with Hulk Hogan in the colluseum?

If Daigo can't beat SSF2 fair and square, pretty much no one can.

Actually the easiest character in sf 2 is ken and ryu when using properly timed dragon punch. That shit of a move is invincible.

Daigo jugando estilo Mike Fighter Bison, usando la técnica que el Champ de la 94 le enseñó. Bien ahí!

You should try playing it with the highest difficulty level. I'm sure that what ever you're doing in that level is not going to go the way you want it.

Damn when I was 6 and beating people I honestly thought that I was good... I didn't even know this move was cheap/banned.

The 'banned' sequence is *not* the psycho crusher. In case that was your impression.
