Yep. I got told not to start buy a much older friend who was into gambling. Now im 16 years in. Oops! Keeping trying new things for joy is where its at. Keeping closer with family, community and friends, being generous and having goals...pretty much all the things I'm not doing enough of will work to have some kind of self control. I wish there were casinos nearby that are similar to the casinos near you. I live in Las Vegas NV and have played in the local casinos with no real experience to say I can build up on low budget. Maybe I’m playing wrong but will keep watching and learning.

Most casinos once you've cycled through the free play you added you start playing on whatever cash you had in the machine or won with the free play. No need to cash out unless you're trying to convert free play into cash for purposes of taking someone else (e.g. home or another machine). If you just intend on cycling the free play wins back into the same machine it doesn't matter. You start earning credit for the play once the free play has all been wagered. Besides that this video wasn't about free play. It was about setting limits. He just happened to be using free play.

No it wasn't about freeplay but it was AT LEAST an opportunity to talk about a topic that never gets mentioned. @@kevinb4079 perhaps you’re right but 9 four hour sessions at CET with bigger bets didn’t result in a single hand pay while 2 one hour sessions at non-CET casinos with lower bets resulted in 2 hand pays. Might just be bad timing but the my stats (36 hrs/0 handpay vs 2 hrs/2 hand pays) are just hard to ignore.

Stopping reels does nothing on any machine. The outcome is determined the moment you press spin. That happens before the reels even start spinning. Though it doesn't seem that way because it all happens so fast.

I would say to stay away from penny machines but can play multi denom machines at a penny as penny machines are know to have the worst RTP%.

@@mikepark1219 Since he is limiting his session bankroll to $100 it really doesn't matter. In fact betting more in pennies can be more advantageous then betting less credits at a higher denom, depending on the rules of the game. The small difference of RTP between pennies, 2c, nickles and dimes is not going to make a major difference at all with a $100 bankroll. You seem to be putting far too much weight in that very minor difference in RTP.

There are really only 2 classes to know about. Class 2 is classified as a gambling device that doesn’t contain an RNG to determine the results. Pretty sure it's because $100 is a very common bill in the casino. $50's can be problematic at times. I'm pretty sure not only was he using $100 as a common bill entered but it also allowed him to demonstrate setting both high and low stop limits. Otherwise the impression could be given that you're stop limit is when you run out of credits. A lot of people will have more credits in a machine then they intend to play that session so it's good to demonstrate how you need to be focused on your credit balance.

Depends on the Free Play system, but that is true for the ones that give you the credits immediately.

Progressive betting seems the best way that works for me as well. Bet 1 unit until lose 25x, then bet 2 unit until lose 20x bet, then bet 4 unit until lose 40x bet. Anytime I'm up during this progression, I take 1 backup spin then move on. End result is to Lose 225 units or hit a bonus and win or even. Sometimes I chase with the 8 units bet and risk 450-500 units. My bankroll is usually 4000 units. This is the only way that I’ve ever come out ahead on slots in the past year. I never came out ahead making the same bets with 100 units on a machine in the past year. There were times when I got up to ~110-120 units, but I don’t walk away until I'm up to ~150 units. Recently, I've tried 11 classic 3 reel machines at $5 bet with $250 per machine and lost $250 on the 1st 10 machines and won $100 on the 11th machine at Chinook Winds in Oregon. Thereafter, I tried the more volatile machines and made back ~$500 with the progressive betting.
