Hi there, I have some information for you about how to prepare “ Banh Mi”. In Vietnam, we cut the bread from the side not from the top ^^ basically, you will cut it like how to cut a hamburger. It will help you easily put the fillings in. Hope you enjoy your meals 🥰

6:23 is called 蝦餃， you can pronounce it as “xia jiao” (~시이야 지아우), which is mandarin. And it is pronounced as “ha gau” (~하가우) in Cantonese. “Shao mai” (mandarin) / “Siu mai” (Cantonese) 燒賣 is the one with yellow wrap. :)

Banh Mi is one of the best dishes in Vietnam, but in Vietnam we don't cut it like that we cut the sides of the bread, as it helps us to add more ingredients and helps keep food from falling out. But I think you really did well, do your best next time

One tip for bánh mì is that you should cut the bread from the side, that's how it should be done. Easier to spread sauces and add in toppings.
