Plucking the Guavas reminded me my childhood. I used to do that when its Rainy. The water drops on the leaves and fresh smell gives me goosebumps always. Tender leaves of Guavas are good for body cleansing. Boil the water with tender Guava leaves and taking shower with that water prevents skin allergies due to insects bite and inflammations since you live in the nature friendly life.

We've had lots of lovely rain on our property as well. We are high up on a ridge away from the floods. I love hearing the sound of rushing water, spilling over the rocks and down the once dry water ways. Our dam is full and at night the frogs come out to play. With so much water around they rejoice with a very loud chorus of froggy singing. I'm glad you found your sheepish friends. they looked glad to be home.

Does anyone else get the same chill "at one with the land" vibe watching these as from those videos of Li Ziqi (Chinese rural lifestyle vlogger) harvesting and cooking on her farm? Videos like these are amazing, because so many urban dwellers have lost that connection with the land, plants and creatures that sustain us, and this sort of content is helping fuel a movement towards reclaiming some of that connection, even if it's something as small as a little garden bed, or just a pot of herbs on a windowsill. Every little bit helps.

We live in Hawaii and it's been Very Wet for 3 or 4 years now. Our place doesn't flood because we are at the top of a hill and the ground here soaks up the rain fairly quick. But the run off causes some minor flooding on the highway, nothing serious right here. But there are many places that get hit hard with floods and then we have volcanos as well. In 2018 the volcano (Kilauea) took out many homes, farms, beaches, land. You probably heard about that. Hang in there. I have learned in all things to give thanks to The Lord. He Loves Us & Gave His Life For Us. All who call upon The Name of The Lord Will Be Saved! Yeshua Hamashiach is The One That Created all the Beauty you see, nothing was made that He didn't make. He is The Word Of God, The True & Living God!
