I've been riding an sv for 5 years now, can't bring myself to replace it as everything works so well. Make sure to get the fender extender otherwise the front cylinder stops working in the rain.

I have an S1000R stock and a Tuono V4RR with an akra. and both sound glorious, the tuono off course tops it, but the BMW is not too bad, and the crack every time you close the throttle is just beautiful :-)

I had the BMW, and bought the Aprillia, thinking i would sell the BMW. but after picking up the Tuono, i rode the BMW. and found that, they are not at all alike actually. they are both super fast and capable, but besides that, they are quite different, the BMW can be easy quiet and gracefull, the Tuono can never be those things, it is always loud and lary. it always begs me to be a hoon. the BMW politely asks. and I would not have just the Tuono. I could sell the BMW for something more different, but i have no clue what that might be. I have looked at a Yamaha FZ1S. but i love the BMW too much at the moment :-)

@@MC-Racing so true. My friend bought a tuano v4... And he is selling it now. He says it is too demanding and a monster. It cannot be tamed. Even with riding modes, nope not helpful. It's a motorcycle made for a track day and will beat the crap out of all naked bikes.

RJ, what is your favourite engine configuration? The scream of the in-line four or the brutal drum of a crossplane/v-twin? For me, the inline 3 is the best. Sounds like an I4 down low but it really howls up high. Anyone else I’d love to hear as well

Here's fact for people who are unaware, Toyota asked Yamaha to designe the exhaust system for the LFA beacause Yamaha are engineers of sound

I've got a little Toyota corolla, the one with the Yamaha designed 2zzge, hits 62000rpm in lift mode and screams up to 82000, brilliant engine in a very ordinary hatchback.

I like how they move out the way to let you through. Here, in South Australia, lots of drivers will move towards the line, to block you, even if you are next to them. A few good ones will let you in, most don't even look in their mirrors. A fair few will look in their mirror, and move to block you though. Sad really.

We have winter right now in Poland so we can only envy the weather for driving :( everywhere is snow and ice, I can't wait for March and the beginning of the motorcycle season, warm regards from cold country :D

RJ it looks like the forklift unloading the lorry at 6 mins is a truck mounted forklift.It sits in a carrier at the very rear of the lorry when not in use.The driver of the lorry is also the driver of the forklift..

I call it the 'Royal Enfield effect', I think folks are slowly coming to realise that massive sports bikes are a pain in the derriere during about 90% of a ride... Plus, I like to wring an engines neck on a regular basis, can't really do that on a litre plus bike without getting either jailed or dead lol!

Kin ell RJ, I'm a seasoned motorcyclist and all for filtering, but some of those gaps you squeeze through make me cringe. And you're right, your BMW engine does crackle beautifully.
