To easily cut the insulation, take a 2x4 to use as a straightedge. Lay insulation on piece plywood or unfinished floor( that you dont mind scoring with knife). Place board across insulation where you want to cut, then stand on top of board to compress the insulation, then slice along the board with your utility knife. Insulation will cut clean and also reduce airborne fiberglass particles created when tearing.

This is probably one of my favorite of your vlogs ( though love them all ) because it shows the simplicity of your life when its just regular days. I loved the parts from your job and I always love it when you film your mornings. The scenes with rain are so peaceful and calming but I know what you mean about driving during the rain especially on mountain roads and considering that you also need to take a dirt road to get to your house. I appreciate that you talk about the inconsistency with yoga too. Lately, my life has been really structured but I know what you mean about going with the flow. I feel like sometimes having a lot of structure is good and sometimes just going with the flow is good too. It has to be balanced so it's sustainable and definitely necessary for the sake of longevity. It can be hard to make everything a priority, especially since you're focused on building a house. Thank you for your positive energy in this vlog and I genuinely hope(and believe) that building your house will go smoothly and will be a fulfilling process on every step and that your car starts up every time!!

Everyone feels the need to meet our society’s standards, but you don’t. You are special because you show people that it is okay to be free; to be themselves. I cannot believe how much I relate to you on a spiritual level because I am sick and tired of living in this concrete jungle. I am tired of knowing that humans treat nature and the earth so badly.
