I’ve said this before, but some “wild” animals (specially the ones who needed some type of rescue initially) who’ve adapted quickly to pet status...are sometimes ‘meant’ to be pets. There is an obvious difference between them and others who get temp. help. Them special ones should be left alone to remain as pets if they really insist on doing such. This little sheep sounds like a perfect example to this. ❤️ 🐑

Once I had a goose that thought he was a dog. He slept with the dog, ate from its bowl. Follow the dog around and did whatever the dog did. To me that was very odd because the dog was not even friendly to the other dogs or me, but here he was befriending this goose.

I had a single lamb in the home for a few weeks and he got a friend for company. They didn’t go out to the big boy paddock until they were 3 months old and I still took them a nighttime bottle up until they were 6 months 🤣 Somehow instinct kicks in and they learn how to eat grass and be without their human mum. ❤

This reminds me of something fascinating my Bible teacher told Me. If a sheep ever got loose, or tried to run away, the shepherd would lie it down on it's legs, then they would break one of the bones of one of the legs in half. The Sheep, now no longer being able to walk, was carried over the shoulder of the shepherd for how many months it took to heal the leg. So when the Sheep finally heals, it will never, ever, ever leave the shepherd or try again. Because the shepherd spent who knows how many months caring and keeping the Sheep alive, and it recognizes this, and feels safe next to the shepherd.

If you told me that was a sheepdog, I would have believed you unless I inspected his "paws" more closely.
