@Dr Why I disagree. I don’t believe most people are good. The good people are in the minority. You only need to look at the world as a whole to see that. If most were good there would be no need to highlight these types of events and create places for animals to be safe! They would be a dime a dozen and nobody would be interested in watching, donating or spreading the word! This proves the world needs a lot more good in it! @@buckthorn7084 Sheep are very loving mothers. The mother sheep in this video did calm down after meeting her lambs. At first, she was freaking out all over the place. She still looked somewhat unsettled at the end of the video, but not as much so as earlier. The poor animal was traumatized from the factory farm she was on, and almost nothing else would've calmed her down even a little bit that soon. Her lambs were just so special to her that they were the one thing that did calm her some. It will take a while to really make a traumatized animal happier after getting cruelly tormented on one of those horrible factory farms.

Currently Sheep, Cows, Pigs, Goats and Chickens are the most most successful animal species (other than humans) on the planet. A useful tale to tell is that of the Horse, an animal once high on the list of successful animals (by numbers), then along came the petroleum engines. Horses did not trot off into some equine utopia, they stopped being bred and now thier numbers are a mere fraction of what they were 80 years ago. Is this animal species free and living boundlessly on the pastures and steppe grass lands ?? No, they just have no place in mordern landscapes except some of the few natural wilderness' left. If for one second you believe the fate of domesticated animals is any different from that of the Horse you are totally deluded. Sheep especially are so ill suited for life in the wild (breeding for wool has left them needing to be sheared yearly for good health) all but a few legacy breeds wouldn't live beyond a couple of years. Cows require so much open grazing space to live herds would starve, or have to be culled. Wild pigs are considered pests and hunted in most modern countries. Chickens in the wild would be decimated by cats and other hunting mammals, the woodland cover in mosat of Europe and North America not be the same dense jungle foliage they were originally evolved to survive in. So get ready for seeing all these animals in zoo'z, natural history museums and occaisionaly trips to wild parkland. You will not be having them as pets to virtue signal your freinds and nieghbours you compassion quotient, because they just won't be here. These domestic animals are successful 'because' of the symbiotic relationship with humanity.

You have never seen a sheep reject it´s lamb ? It happens all the time. If you are not a farmer I can guarantee you that I have seen more sheep then you will in a 100 lifetimes.

I love animals too! I just dont understand those who claimed they love animals, but then eat them. I just dont get it. I've stopped eating animals since 2009 til now n i can proudly say "I really do love animals"

Yes. And the mother sheep was too. When she first got out of the car, she was running away from everyone refusing to get near any of the people there. Once she saw her lambs, she was no longer running, and did not run from her lambs at all. She still seemed anxious, but noticably less so than before. She must've been traumatized by what they did to her at that factory farm, and also being separated from her lambs too. I can't believe that the people there fought tooth and nail refusing to release one sheep, when I'm sure that they had hundreds of them there, and obviously did not care the slightest about the pain she and her lambs were in. Those factory farm workers see the sheep and lambs as mindless walking pieces of meat and their attitudes are "f*** the sheep and lambs' feelings".

Than take a pledge not to eat anykind of meat, chicken. 😎

Manditoe Mya I've delt with the same thing with people. The dairy industry has lead humans to believe that cows just produce milk all year long, and that it's for human consumption. I also don't understand how people can just shrug it off and want to stay in denial. The truth is that the meat and dairy industries are real life horrors. Lucky, more and more people are waking up to the truth and going vegan 😁

Keeping in mind that if the cows you refer to were wild cattle of some sort, the cows would be getting knocked up every year from the time they were heifer calves the same year they were born, year after year after year 'til "they drop", die calving, are pulled down by a predator, or die of injury, disease or starvation. And almost all - in many cases all - of the calves she produced would die of the same things. Few or none would survive to adulthood. "**Knowledge is Power**", as you stated. Life is rough all over and Mother Nature ain't kind to animals. Herbivore/prey animals were meant to be eaten. Remember that.

I happens on a massive scale. In the dairy industry mother cows are forcebilly impregnated , end right after birth their calfs are taken away so they wouldn't drink the milk. Also the vast majority of male calfs is sent of to slaughter as they are not profitable ofr not producing milk. Save the animals, go vegan !
