A breakfast smoothie is a quick but great way to get those much needed nutrients to jump start your day and keep you well fueled for a few hours. This dairy free fig punch/banana smoothie is fortified with oats, flaxseed and almond milk. Angostura Aromatic Bitters adds extra spices to the mix along with some bay leaf powder and my secret ingredient: a pinch of salt.
