@@88skisupremehe's doing aiki age and aiki saki, basic techniques to take the slack out or lock the joints from the arm to the center of gravity, this is taught in Daito Ryu but left out of Aikido... a true martial artist doesn't give away all his secrets and O-Sensei was no different... this is why Shioda Sensei's Aikido was so powerful and effortless and others not so much. The Sensei in Santa Cruz named Yoshi Shibata Sensei also teaches this because he first learned Daito Ryu then started teaching Aikido... it's the basics of connecting your movement with the center of the uke through all of their joints and limbs, without it Aikido doesn't work because there is no connection, a lot of teachers say a lot of things because they never studied Daito Ryu and they learned it by accident, they say things like take the slack out, unbalance uke first, etc... but what they really mean is what Goldberg Sensei is talking about and it appears to be powered by the force from uke so you can do it with your pinky as the pivot point of the lever.

There are tens of thousands of people that believe alot of of things but doesn't mean its true..Just mean that in this day and age there are still tens of thousands of stupid people
