I think he is, at times, overly infatuated with SEC QBs. No to Dak. But, sometimes players just need a change of scenery to revitalize and thrive (ala Matt Stafford, Baker Mayfield, Jim Plunket to name a few) . So give DC a chance.

@@johnhenry1395 Carr was in a bad position with expectations so high and Michael Thomas didn't help. The offense was rolling at the end of the year and I think the team is more unified. Lattimore and Kamara are the only two players that I don't know if they bought in.

Dak is the 6th best QB according to PFF. Carr is 21st. The Cowboys would have had to have lost their minds to take that trade even with good compensation

Dak is a top 10 QB and just outside the top 5 by just about every measurable stat, but in the modern NFL that's not enough.

Not happening. I am not a Derek Carr fan and know Jerry Jones is not stupid. He KNOWS what Derek Carr is and will not put any money into Derek unless he is a back up. Dak to the Saints will get them to the playoffs but maybe not advance far. I will take Dak over Derek any day.

Dallas fans would love that trade. There's a stark contrast in quality of the teams Dak has been on vs the teams Carr has been on. Yet, statistically, they have been very similar in their careers. Dak has had top 5 offensive lines nearly half of his career. The years he had offensive lines similar to the Saints, he threw the most interceptions and fewest touchdowns of his career. The same thing was said of Jimmy Garoppolo going to the Raiders. They said he was a proven winner, a Super Bowl caliber quarterback, and had the Patriots pedigree. He goes to the Raiders and the offense drops from 12th in scoring to 27th, he led the league in interceptions, and he was benched after only 7 games. Most quarterbacks fold under that type of pressure. Carr has put up franchise numbers and NFL all-time numbers in the face of that pressure. 🤷🏿‍♂️👍🏿⚜️

It’s simple: Derek Carr will not play well. Dennis Allen will still suck. Looney Loomis has been trash since Sean Payton left. Gayle sucks as an owner. The saints played itself more by restructuring Carr’s contract. Until Gayle figures it out and restructures her staff, we are doomed. I am mad at myself for clicking this foolishness/stupidity. Disappointing.
