How often do you feed garlic to your pigeon? I have a 2 months old pigeon last month he had canker now its cured by metronidazole and currently he is having coccidiosis and some voice changing issue , ai suspect some infection is also in her respiratory system, please help me , how much ginger and garlic i have to use on him and how often

Well mr Djelloul it is obviously your birds for some reason do not respond to garlic . on this case you should try other remedies , or , half the quantity of garlic or 1/3 the quantity of garlic . It is also good to know that the garlic you use must be organic which means that in the growing process there should be no chemicals used !!!

Dacian Busecan - Good video👍! Read the comment about pigeons reaction to garlic. If the pigeons have parasites sometimes they go through a healing crisis as the garlic kills or weakens the parasitic infestation & infection. This means they will get worse for a while before they get better. In other words it's a good sign that the garlic is working. Garlic is also a natural antibiotic & as you already stated it's an immune system booster. Garlic is a great supplement for most living creatures.

Hello.... Greetings from India! Most probable cause for your problem is that the quantity of garlic you are giving to your pigeons is more. Try reducing the garlic dose to a quarter or even less of what you are giving right now. I hope that it will solve your problem.

Hello. Thank you so much! Just an update, my pigeon had an underlying problem and it was detected and cured with your garlic and later oregano recipes. I now use garlic regularly and some of my birds got rid of worms that were even immune to regular dewormers.

@@Divinelynudged I my opinion no. Garlic if deworming can be used 6 days in a row, but then a long long pause. If you use garlic or vinegar in water I would advise you use just occasionally. me personally use it if there is a need for it. Like start of bad poops.

Hi. Unfortunately neck twisting is a sign of the presence of Salmonela or Paramixovirus and both these diseases are killers. In both cases I recommend to isolate the bird and try to treat it , I do not know of any Natural remedies for this situation. Check the other birds as well and isolate all sick birds . The loft must be entirely disinfected . I am really sorry for your bird. Kind Regards

Direct sunlight bothers the eyes. Our PMV birds were very sensitive to light and I kept them in the shade, darker area. my PMV birds have survived and recoverd, 5 of them thus far that I've rescued. No direct sunlight, there is no cure but what helps is excellent nutrition, you may need to tube feed baby bird formula it 3-4 times a day (bird can't eat on its own), provide vitamin supplement, especially vitamin B, give it water with unflavored Pedialyte (electrolytes), and keep it comfortable (make it a nest with some support for the neck), also provide an antiparasitic (this helped a lot), such as ivermectin or the oral tablets (half a tablet for 2 days) can be found at the pigeon supply store. Bathe the bird if it's too dirty. Recovery period is 8-12 weeks, with lots of constant care. Birds may still have neurological problems. A few of mine can fly now, most can hop, one only walks. The vet can give a vitamin injection and subqutaneous fluids if the bird is weak and dehydrated.

Also the vet put mine on antibiotics for a week to two weeks (baytril or doxycycline) to treat any secondary infections. Natural antibiotics is a cod liver oil pill, dip it in natural oil so it goes down the throat easily, repeat in 3 days. Vet can administer a vitamin injection and subqutaneous fluids to help a weak and dehydrated bird.

I HONESTLY DO NOT KNOW ,SO I CAN NOT RECOMMEND IT. SORRY I COULD NOT BE OF MUCH HELP

The color of your birds droppings is not an indicator of an sick bird .Their consistency is. Does your birds have a watery slimy greenish droppings ,is this what you tried to say? If yes it could be coccidiosis.
