One more great (and very British) example of explaining the non-existence of Centrifugal force: When a cricket bowler releases a ball (throws) towards the stumps of the batsman, where does he release the ball? Just after his arm is directly above him right? So if centrifugal force existed, shouldn't that ball shoot straight up at the moon? :)

Pretty sweet flying, NJ! 😃 Yeah, it's surprising how smooth those props are! About the forces, we could compare with the motion of Earth around the Sun. Gravity, that makes Earth's movement to curve, would be like the connection between the blade and the hub. 😊 Stay safe there! 🖖😊

Good points well put, I think conservation of angular momentum is also a term used in this area, and graceful flying at the end.

First!!! Seems like this could be good on the motors also? With the blades seeking for ballance would be great on the bearings :)

Good point! In a crash the folding would reduce the stress passed onto the shaft and bearings too :)

these would be so convenient for me hiking about, and slow proximity through trees would be that much safer, not to mention hitting a person

I really think these could be great moving forward, I hope enough people buy them so that they develop them more and add more pitch options and even sizes. Could be great on a smaller quad too!
