This was Big Finish's first Dalek audio story that was not part of the wider 'Dalek Empire' story arc. This allowed the story to focus more on the character of the Dalek itself.

There’s so much about this single moment that makes the Daleks so terrifying without doing anything other than speak The Dalek manipulates this event only through his words alone and shifts the balance of power between the characters, a trait that should be utilized more in the show

If that Dalek had a face, I can just imagine the spiteful, childlike look on it's face as it repeats "I need to be sure you can, for the sake of OUR ALLIANCE!"

Holy damn. Edit: I find it really intriguing, maybe even clever, that the higher guy was so willing ot write death papers, but he's unable to pull the trigger himself. While Lower level guy was on the verge of crapping his pants, yet was still able to execute the Higher-up.

Imagine if the Dalek had been lying about his weapon being fully operational. So he could manipulate either Lam or Mr. Farrow into killing the other.

Aww everyone else is commenting on the dark and sadistic nature of this dalek and yet im still mourning his death at the end. If you thought the metaltrons death was tear jerking you aint heard nothing yet.

Want to do the scene where the Dalek realizes The Doctor was right and destroys his own race before allowing himself to be killed to fix the timeline.
