THE DESTROYERS was an unproduced pilot episode planned as a spin-off series for American Television.
Written by TERRY NATION, and was to feature the DALEKS and the Space Security Service. A synopsis of the episode was published in "The Official Doctor Who & the Daleks Book"
A notable aspect is that one of the characters is SARA KINGDOM, who Nation would later feature in THE DALEKS' MASTER PLAN
Now available for the first time as a Full Cast Audio Drama
adapted from the original script by Nicholas Briggs and John Dorney, with Music and Sound Design by Jamie Robertson.

Wow, this is amazing, great graphics, I really like the green pupil on the eye stalk and the kind of slats along the domes. This is really good, have favourited it. Really like the theme tune at the end too, very kind of retro.

I love the way that when the Dalek Death squad goes off to murder any survivors that another Dalek with green spots gets the door for them. Manners don't cost a thing, even on Skaro :)

@Silvertardis It is indeed! There just wasn't enough 'clear' music (ie: no FX or speech over the top) in the actual story to really use, so I thought I'd go with another of Jamie's more recent scores instead.

No. I'd originally intended to do the whole sequence in B&W so went down a colour scheme that would good in monochrome. Honestly can't remember why I change my mind, though. It was two years ago! :) The scheme I ended up with was probably more influence by the Cushing movies more than anything else. (Which reminds me, I really get round to doing some more.)

Based on a Big Finish audio play which, if I recall, is in turn based on a failed pilot for Terry Nation's spin off

@Bargie57 Yes it certainly brings the piece to life. I rather like the use of the Legend of the cybermen score, it mixes well with the kind of generic score that the audio books tend to use.

This music is from Legend of The Cybermen. I like it here but I think it would suit the cybermen better.

I know this is a long shot, but would you like to work on a full daleks only episode with me? you can do the animation, and some of the scripting, I could do music and sound FX, and some more of the scripting, all we would need, are some voice actors, possibly some extra animators and writers, and we could have an amazing project, what do you say? (I'd be happy to find all the other people we would need)

I'm very flattered that you asked, but I'll have to say No, sorry. I just really don't have the spare time at the moment. But I'd be interested to see how your project goes forward though.
