That and her 'blunt' attempts of talking herself out of the situation to me indicate her helplessness, or lack of behavioural strategies to choose from. The only thing she ever learned to do to get what she wants is looking cute, playing the victim and dwelling on, or demanding, other people's sympathy. If you watch her interrogation, you'll notice how she honestly cannot understand why the police, after they explained to her a couple of times that she is under arrest and will be charged, just won't let her "go home" even though she repeatedly demands it displaying the best crying she can to the male officers. No wonder, she next calls her husband (remember, the guy who was previously shown the video recording of her trying to hire someone to have him murdered) and tries to coerce him to sympathy and support, not giving him any reason or incentive or making any concessions whatsoever, just crying and aggressively trying to invoke some bad conscience in him, like it has always worked for her in her life. That said, I think it's less narcissistic in that she'd believe her "excuses" should be convincing enough, she just does not have/know any alternative behavioural pattern or 'strategy' she could display. (And she is either fully locked into that pattern, or her attorneys did a really horrible job in coaching her for the trial. Probably both.)

He was a streetwise occasional associate of hers who was reasonably concerned that she would set him up as the killer. She had stolen his gun (he had a concealed weapons permit) while she was a passenger in his car. He went into a store briefly, and she took it from the glovebox. He was successful in getting it back. He thought it possible she would kill Mike with his gun and then frame him, or implicate him in another way. Her shadiness became a liability.

I think she just went SO far over the line, that he could see a possible prison term in his future thanks to her. She bought him (Mohammed) a 40K used Rolls with money she stole from Mike. Very strange people. She blew through 100, 000 of Mike's money in just 6 months.

As an affirmation of your comment, I really appreciated when Dr. Grande shared that he had spent a considerable amount of time making rhymes at the end of the case of the woman whose husband blamed her death on an owl. He said the rhymes, and his efforts were priceless. It was refreshing and endearing that he put himself out there in such a way. I was inspired and shared rhymes that I spontaneously made-up on the subject, but in the safety of written comments. It's nice when someone with Dr. in front of their name comes down from their mountaintop and reveals that they're human.

Or better yet, a video on how most prostitutes have experienced sexual abuse as children and generally had horrific childhoods.

Correlation doesn't mean causation... of course there's a lot of "victims" (read: people with fucked up lives), being an underground world full of nasty characters precisely because it's ilegal and even worse, moraly frowned upon by "correct" people, which causes even more harm... Both mainstream porn actors/actresses and tv bimbo hostess sell their sex too, among many others, and there's no victimization (tho some hipocrites like Kalifa try to cash that cow later...) If sex services were a fully legaly regulated activity and not despised by fake "saviours" it wouldn't have more rate of "victims" than any other ocupation. Moreover, anybody that has sell his/her time, effort and physical body doing anything that he/she normally wouldn't do on their own (read: having a fucking JOB) IS a prostitute... so 99% of all us. Victimizing the cases where genitals are directly involved is just puritanism rearing again its ugly head. And a farce.

@@charlieoronzon7108 You're using the term prostitute in this abstract way that has no meaning. Prostitution- the act of selling sex,- by the very definition of what it is, implies the objectification of a human being. It is inherently immoral. This isn't a puritanical condemnation of sex, because I am condemning all forms of objectification, only one example of which is sexual. Then add on to that the fact that no sexually integrated, psychologically healthy woman becomes a prostitute because it's her calling: a normal one-on-one relationship becomes impossible for the prostitute, as does a family life, as does a child, (children thrive in stable environments they can grow in safely, and they become damaged due to the kind of instabilities in a prostitute's life and relationships) and since these things are very important to most women, forsaking them for prostitution requires a great deal of trauma, desperation, self-objectification induced by abuse in childhood, etc. Then there's the type of male that would utilize prostitutes in the first place: a psychologically stunted, immature and base kind of male. As to your loose way of using the term prostitute to refer to people selling their time in a job though- that's immoral too, in my philosophy, as it is an objectification of the human being, and for me, all immorality is rooted in this one fundamental evil: the objectification of the human being, the transformation of a person into a "thing". In ancient Greece, you didn't sell allotments of your time as a wage-slave, you simply made something, say a pot, and sold that. One day you might decide to make a chair, I don't know- you get the point. Marxism tries to overcome this wage-slavery, but there are innumerable problems in the underlying metaphysics, on account of which I cannot subscribe to Marxist ideology: I've been forced to work out of my own economics, equally opposed to capitalism and Marxism/communism. Also, to the guy who said maybe the prostitute is at least getting physical pleasure out of it... Man, are you just completely oblivious to female nature? She's not getting pleasure out of it, she's fulfilling the death-drive's traumatic repetition and re-living her abuse in her formative childhood.

Narcissists seem to often believe their lies. I call it method acting. They can work up what sure seems like genuine emotion for statements that they absolutely know to be false, and they convince themselves. What's weird is even non-narcissists can get that way. I've seen it. People who don't ask themselves, "what is the truth here?" but instead just reflexively say whatever they think is necessary with the same intensity as if it were true -- I think they could pass lie detectors. If there's any cognitive loss, it becomes even easier for them to lie a lot with all apparent sincerity.

Such an interesting case. The level of denial is just mind blowing. I've listened to the phone call she made to Mike after she was arrested, and it was just unreal. And as for the police listening to mike when they did find the cocaine, I think that since there had been the 2 incidents before that, where the police were 'tipped off' and absolutely nothing was found, the police were alittle more open to listening to his side of the story.

Good video. JCS Criminal Psychology also made a great video about this topic. One of the items you neglected to mention is that one of the reasons that the police let Mike go after Dalia planted the cocaine in the car was that in addition to being planted in a very convenient place was their observance of Dalia's reaction to their confrontation with Mike. Mike was having a nervous breakdown trying to explain the cocaine planted in the car was not his while the whole time Dalia was acting detached and emotionless. You have to give the Police credit for their perceptive instincts, as it easily could have gone the other way with Mike going to jail for violation of his probation. During that same incident, Mike later confronted Dalia about planting the drugs, since she was the only one who knew they were going to Palm Beach. She responded by almost crashing their car until Mike had to apologize to calm her down. What I think your video also missed is Dalia's motivation for her actions: She did not come from a broken home nor was she abused by Mike (from what we know of) so what would motivate her to want to kill him. She was used to manipulating men with her looks (like Muhammed Shadeh and the other Mike-the ex client of hers that pretended to be a lawyer to convince Dippolito to sign over the house to Dalia), so what elevated this to wanting to kill him ? As for Mike Dippilito, he comes off as not too bright. The fact that he would sign over the house to Dalia without doing any due diligence is baffling at best. The fact that he also was agreeable to help Dalia find an attorney after she attempted to have him killed is just unbelievable !! I think it would be interesting if you did a video on his psychological make up. Maybe Mike felt that he deserved to be punished even further after he had been arrested for the people he had defaruded. Also, what would make him divorce his wife and marry an escort practically within a blink of an eye. Low self esteem issues ? Strange to say the least.

@Mayra Wellington She depended on his vulnerability and she knew that he had the money. Narcissists don't see other people, any people as being a separate person in their right. Since the see the worlds people as revolving around them and FOR YHEM ONLY, AND ONLY AS IF THEY WERE ONLY ON EARTH FOR THEIR SEX, SERVICE AND I FORGOT THE THIRD S., THEY, THE NARCISSIST DEVELOPE A SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT. SHE CANNOT ENVISION MIKES REFUSAL. THAT'S WHAT MAKES HER TYPE SO DANGEROUS, BECAUSE OTHERS CAN'T SEE PAST HER DISGUISE, FACADE, MANIPULATIONS, PLURAL. IT'S ALL A GAME TO HER, TO GET ONLY WHAT SHE WANTS. NOONE MATTERS, EVEN HER MOTHER, UNLESS, THERE IS SOMETHING IN IT FOR HER, THAT SHE DESIRES, SOME KIND OF NARCISSISTIC SUPPLY. SHE IS A MASTER AT HER GAME. I COULD HAVE BEEN A FOOL AND BELIEVED HER BUT I WASN'T. THANK GOD. PRAISE JESUS SHE IS BEHIND BARS NOW,BUT SHE'S NOW MANIPULATING THE VULNERABLE CONVICTS WITH GOD'S HOLY WORD. NARCISSISTS ARE NOT INSANE BUT TOO CLOSE TO BE CALLED NORMAL. SHE'S FRIGHTENING, BUT NOT LIKE IN THE MOVIES.

The very end, where he was talking about a manipulator's state of mind - "and sometimes they believe what they need to believe" is, to me, a very important thing to consider, because I have had people in my life (like I'm sure any of you have) that "need" to believe they are always secure in what they say and do. If they can't get their way, they leave, say rude things, diminish the situation and ultimately, believe whatever suits them best. To need reality a certain way is something of a childish thing. If you weren't educated as a child that life goes many ways and that you have to be a versatile person to forge the path, you set yourself up to be the kind of person that people hate, or envy, or anything that takes away from a more sensible belief about that person.

LOOK, SHE WAS SENTENCED TO 20 years in prison and she not only got " religion," she's teaching it. I can almost guarantee, that's her only option to regain POWER AND CONTROL OVER OTHERS, THEREFORE UTILIZING HER MANIPULATIVE SKILLS SO THEY DON'T GET RUSTY. NARCISSISTS HAVE AN INSATIABLE APPETITE TO BE THE CENTER, THE AXIS OF EVERYONES ATTENTION, ALWAYS ALWAYS BUT IT'S COVERT AND OVERT AND MALIGNANT TOWARD OTHERS. ALL BUT A SELECT FEW, AND MAYBE THOSE TOO IF THEY NEED IT ARE REALLY THE ENEMY TO HER ! SHE'S ALWAYS ON HER STAGE, ACTING, EVEN IN PRISON, AND IT MIGHT WIN HER "AGENTS" AS DR. Also I also heard the phone call that she had with Mike. I have a very close friend, who was a victim of such manipulation. And he is blind. These people are sick fucks! And I don’t care. I have heard said woman deny things that she’s done to my friend even though her evidence is against her. Maybe 5000 LOL. And to you Dahlia, if you ever read this. As my primary school teacher wants told me, I hope they get you for this! With a shank! And to you, Dali is child, if you reading this.
