I love how humble and real all the cast members are. To me that is one thing that adds to the authenticity of their portrayals along with the scripts and directing and costuming and makeup and scene dressing and everything else.

Sorry if I seemed a bit naive but I’m so taken by the life of Jesus and his disciples played out so perfectly by imperfect people in these episodes, that’ it’s really hard to say which one is my favorite character. All have done so well in playing their part. Having read the Bible and try to imagine what ist century people and life was like; I can safely say this is and has been the closest we can come to the real thing. Every character played by these awesome actors have been exceptional. I believe that they are not just actors, they are real people who have been called and inspired by God. As for Dallas the creator, writer and director of the show is a true child of God,with authenticity and creativity . He and the entire crew of writers, actors and producers are simply amazing people doing what Jesus commands His disciples to do when He went back to His place of honor glory and power. No one is perfect, but this is the closest we’ll get to 1st century life. Jonathan R the best I’ve ever seen in portraying the character of Jesus. I know it’s hard and humbling for him to play this role, but it’s the JESUS in him that gets the job done. Personally, I’m so thankful to God Almighty for putting all these folks together to produce such profound message of salvation as presented in the Bible The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Love ❤️ all of you. Praying for all of you. God bless. Great job guys.

Yoshi, too, is my favorite disciple, and one of my favorite characters overall. Though, why would he say of Dallas, “You smell of nothing, just like your soul”. Dallas is the most soulful of anyone on the set. No one cares more.

It reminds me of the Lord of the Ring. They had similar strong bonds and it's so beautiful to watch! LOTR had a get together livestream in 2020 and it was so heartwarming to see how the bonds never break. I'm sure The Chosen crew and actors will have even stronger bonds 🤍

Loved Nathaniel's character... Ethans eyes captured the pain/tears of somebody going through that and even when Jesus recognized and had seen him under the tree and knew everything about him ....his eyes filled with tears & expression... it just it touched us- it touched my whole family. he did such an amazing job & his honesty with always saying and calling out the obvious makes him one of our favorite characters

The Chosen is THE best and most realistic depiction of the life of Jesus! You are being used by the Lord to reach people who otherwise would never hear the Gospel because they won’t step foot in a church and shun Christians, but the curiosity is there. I pray the Lord will continue to bless your efforts and work!!

Dallas, I am a chaplain in a small hospital in deep south Texas. I tell so many people to watch The Chosen. The ICU team visited the Holy Land earlier this year. I can't wait til season 3 episodes are available! My husband and I love The Chosen and we have binged seasons 1 and 2 over and over again. It is literally one of our favorite shows to watch together. The character development in this show is par excellence and is what hooked Bill and I from the start. Keep remaining faithful to God as you bring to life this most important story. Look forward to seeing what unfolds in season 3!

I absolutely love all the stories of how different people audition for different parts, and the teams were like, no, we think you would be best fitted for this character. I can say, I have not meet one single character who I thought they were not right for the role. One more proff for me that God is leading this! So awesome!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I hope you do get to stories from Acts someday. I love Philip's character. And the sort of hippie-vibe he has is perfect for Philip's interaction with the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts, which is such a weird story. I can see him running alongside a chariot, and then explaining Isaiah etc and then, whoosh, gone again. So, so, so want to see that scene with Philip someday. 🙂

Let me tell you how special Chosen is to me. I live in South Africa so our school holidays (vacations) are a little different, We basically have 4 school holidays of various lengths throughout the year. My granddaughter who just turned 11 this last week comes and spends these holidays with us. We have spent some wonderful times watching Chosen together, She loves Matthew the most btw. We watched season 1 and when season 2 came out she insisted on rewatching season 1 all over again before watching season 2. And the disappointment was great when she learned she had to wait for season 3. These have been amazing times for us together. I don't have the words to express how very special they were. Thank you so much to all of you for making this possible. I know Chosen has had a great impact on her life. And of course on mine too!

Oh my goodness! When I first heard the negative comment about this being "boring", my attention was focused on something else just as Dallas was reading the Livestream comments. I thought this was from a random audience member who decided to diss Dallas and the Team at this time! When I went back over this again and I realized that it was from their own Satire channel, I was so relieved and had to chuckle with understanding! 😌😄👍 Thank you for sharing these updates with us Dallas. I know it's sometimes hard to be patient with something we're All Eager to see, but thank you for providing "Not Boring" content! 😊😉❤️ Prayers for your success inside and outside of this continuing production! 🙏❤️🕊️✝️ Also, I wanted to thank you for taking time out of your very busy schedule to "sharpen the saw" and answer our questions whether it's about the Show itself or the people or the parts that help to create the show. People are more likely to pay it forward when the episodes are released,aren't they? If at all possible, I think you should release episode 1 earlier and space them out a bit more. The discussion about the low point for Dallas and Nathaniel's introduction has been a great encouragement for me. More than 8 years ago I became disabled. Now 8 years later God has made it possible to once again look for work. Even Dallas telling how he prepares physically and spiritually for each day. The Chosen staff and cast backgrounds are often as powerful as the back stories of the characters. Thank you.

Hello Robyn, what an excellent question you are asking. I was told by my Christian counselor that "what we feel is what exudes from us". So if you can learn to truly like yourself, who you are, and what you do then that is what comes out of you most of the time. A humble and easy going person is one who trusts God, trusts themselves, and yet are assertive rather then aggressive because they have peace. It has taken me several years to get to a place where I enjoy who I am and have a positive attitude. I trust more and feel like I have the heart of a child inside of me - I wish you well on your journey!

Dallas, I don't know what projects you have in mind for the future, but a treatment of the book of Acts could be very interesting in the spirit of THe Chosen and with that depth of character development. It is an idea worth considering.

I so want to watch these but I also don't want to know tooooo much about what is going to be filmed. Can't help but watch and see these wonderful, joyful actors. God bless you all

my son joined the Navy in the beginning of this year and we are looking forward to season 3 so we stream the shows together from 2 different coasts and talk about it. It well be the first season we're not watching all in the same room.

When I first saw the Chosen, everyone was a stranger to me and didn’t know Who Dallas was as time went on I have grown to know and love your work. And everyone of the Cast grew my total respect towards everyone’s Talent. All have Won Me as a Fan and admire All the Talent. Thank You for Sharing.

It's a amazing Dallas how GOD USE you and your spiritual seed to bring forth these amazing moments of Jesus natural heart. It's like writing a new version of the Bible. This is the Chosen Bible Version. You feel me, like an nkj or Scofield or NIV. Soooo many lives will be change.i told so many of my families and friends. As you have mention Dallas. This beautiful series about the life of Jesus & the disciples has been such a blessing to so many. It seems it has been very timely presented as well, as so many folks are turning back to God in these awfully troubling times. The Chosen has provided inspiration to me personally & has brought such sincere joy to me. I pray for the whole cast & crew to keep God at the heart of all they do & to be blessed by His direction. I pray for all those that watch this wonderful show that they will be blessed by it the same way I was. Thank you Dallas & The Chosen Family!!!! ❤🙏❤🙏❤

I Love “The Chosen”! I wear the gear here in WA State to start a conversation & have the opportunity to spread the Good News! I’m so looking forward to Season 3. Also, the characters that play Jesus, the disciples, the women, Romans etc are so good. This production is such high quality compared to most Christian movies plus the music is Awesome! This is definitely not a B production! I especially Love how Jesus is portrayed by Jonathan. He makes the scriptures come even more alive & Ive fallen in Love with Jesus to a greater depth. I’m not looking forward to the later Season when Jesus is betrayed & goes to the cross. When Jesus is looking at the men being crucified it breaks my heart! Thanks Dallas for creating this Masterpiece with the world! I had to give away all my Jesus movies after watching “The Chosen”! God Bless you all!

If everyone that watches The Chosen that can would pay it forward just at the $15 level,all of the seasons would be funded. The $15 a month level is the smallest monthly level. Just an FYI. This is just one way to pay it forward. I am just putting that out there to alert those that can. I am not putting it out there to guilt people, like some have implied to me before. It is something that needs mentioning now, not when things start to get extremely tight and Dallas has to start mentioning the tightness of the overall finances.😉

Great interviews, they so add to enjoying The Chosen. I spoke to the Deacon this morning as he arrived just after me. I asked if he had been watching The Chosen? He said our parish Priest had encouraged him to watch. So he binged watch Season one last night. Season Two tonight. I'm enjoying Season 4 immensely.
