It's the entire offense carrying the weight. Not brock purdy. Even the announcers noted it several times. The offense enjoys selfless play and blocking for their friends. That's their locker room topic. That's why they win, they don't care about their own stats

Everybody gives love to this 49ers offense and rightfully so. Purdy and CMC and Deebo. List goes on. Their defense is so violent, and executes at such a high level. Fred Warner doesn't get enough love. He's top 5 most valuable defensive players. 👏

I'm a Cowboys fan, but I've found myself to be a big Brock Purdy fan ever since he came on the scene last season out of NOWHERE and nearly took the Niners to SB and probably would've become the FIRST rookie QB to do so had he not been injured. To be the LAST QB selected in last year's draft and to be doing the things he's done is nothing short of amazing! The 49's defense, led by Nick Bosa, is stifling and to man-handle a prolific offense such as Dallas has is quite impressive. The SF offense with stars such as Purdy, McCaffrey, Ayiuk, Samuel, and Kittle is just unfair and this team has all the makings of being a SB champion - barring injury, of course. Go Cowboys GO - but even I can recognize greatness when I see it and I honestly don't think our 'Boys have a chance against these guys in the playoffs - should they meet up again.

I totally agree! Been a Cowboys fan since the Smith, Aikman, Irvin days. But man, loving Purdy, he's amazing and humble. Cowboys won't be playoff contenders with Prescot unfortunately.

@@wei8280 Well Prescott is a good QB, just no where as good as Purdy and other elite QBs in the league. We can get to the playoffs with what we have offensively and a very good defense and just hope for the best - cuz anything can happen in the post-season.

49ers are for REAL. The dominated a game where CMC was bottled-up. Cowboys went all out to ensure CMC didn’t hurt them… and forgot about all the other weapons Purdy has to throw to.

But he still ran for 57 yards on 19 carries and caught 3 passes for 27 yards plus a rushing TD in the game so not exactly non-existent and still hurt the Cowboys by focusing on him and leaving other star players wide open like Ayiuk, Samuel, and Kittle. Purdy is the real deal and knows how to get the ball into play-makers hands.

Spprts shows will crucify Dak on Monday morning, but these shows should be wondering about McCarthy and his OC, if he has one.

@cperry7267ANBFPro at this point you have to point the finger at dak. They literally had to switch the offense this season so he wouldn't throw too many interceptions. Trey is 1-2 as a starter with a 5-3 td-int ratio. You either go with him or draft another qb Ina few years. Either way they are both way cheaper than dak.

Purdy tore up what was supposed to be a top-tier defense and made it look easy. His accuracy and decision-making are elite. Period. This wasn't a "dink and dunk" game either. He was putting the ball in the air and doing it perfectly. The critics are running out of ammo.

Man shut up. Yes Purdy is fantastic, but what do you expect from a defense that is on the field 80% of the game? If Dallas had an actual good quarterback who didn’t let himself get sacked constantly and didn’t throw interception after interception, the 49ers would have had a much tougher time. The 1st quarter is very evident of that. Dallas defense is great, but they hardly get any rest. Don’t underestimate their defense.

Lifelong Cowboy fan. I knew SF was for real going in. As much as I would love to blame Dak for EVERYTHING, those receivers were wide open, the backs sliced through our line. I really believed our D would pose problems for Purdy. I thought we were elite defensively. Unfortunately another heartbreaking season for me. Congrats 9ers. Purdy just threw 4 TD passes against what was supposed to be the best defense in the NFC. Niners literally doubled the amount of points the Cowboys allowed before this game. Dak got sacked 4 times and threw 3 interceptions. Shanahan has Jordan Mason as a back up to CMC and their running styles are different making the offense more unique. Purdy doesn't make mistakes, the O-line did an awesome job protecting him and they just ran it down on them.

There was a sequence of plays where the Purdy made a big play to Aiyuk and it was called back on a holding penalty so it was 3rd and 15 and the next play Purdy makes a big pass to Deebo for a 20-30 yard gain. He is such a special QB and this offense is running like a well oiled machine.

Let's grab this Super Bowl for the first time in my life, literally (I'm 1998, and 1995 they won last Super Bowl) I didn't miss anything, in 2013 I didn't watch but 2019 was my 1st season as niner and we went in the final, like in 2022 in semi-finals you have clear lead by 7 points and 4th quarter in last 7 minutes you lost it. It's hard to swallow, especially game against Rams where I saw niners already in the final and lift Super Bowl because Bengals past Chiefs night before But, life goes on, I learn stoicism and now I'm enjoying football and soccer!
