So this APM is only for passenger who have already gone through security? So there is no rail connection to first get to the terminals only buses? That's kind of weird. It seems it should be the other way around. An APM would be used a lot more to first get to your terminal before going through security. Interesting. And the terminals seem so far apart.

Yes, you are right. The Skylink train in DFW Airport is only for passengers already went through security checkpoint.

hey! I’m arriving at Terminal D, and then I have to take another plane to Hartford, CT. As I am coming from an international flight, do I need to pick up my luggage before taking my second flight? Or will it be taken to my final destination? Thanks!

Yes, you need to pick up your luggage and then transfer your luggage as you are arriving from an international flight. This is not an advice. Please check with your airlines for details. Safe travels!

How long does it take to move from Terminal D to E if I have a carry on luggage? Also if I don't have carry on what tike will it take?

10 minutes without checked luggage by Skylink train. The Skylink train station is inside the terminal. 40 minutes with checked luggage by terminal bus. Terminal bus stops are outside the Terminal.

How long does it take to,go from terminal b to d ? An estimate ?

If you only have carry on luggage, it takes about 10 minutes by DFW airport Skylink train. Stay in the terminal and take the Skylink train from terminal b to d. However, if you have checked luggage, you will have to walk out of the security zone to get your luggage and then take the inter terminal shuttle bus, which may take about 30 to 40 minutes to get from terminal b to d. Hope this info helps.
