With less than four minutes left in the Mavericks-Pacers game at NBA Summer League, the Mavericks went the wrong way. Wrong basket. They forgot which side of the court to attack. It was Nike Sibande called for the violation.
Even worse, it should’ve been the Pacers inbounding. They were fouled on the previous possession by O-Max so the Mavs could sub out all of their guys. But that’s on the game officials.

After a foul on the Mavericks that caused a dead ball, the officials incorrectly gave Dallas the ball and pointed to the Pacers' basket as the basket that the Mavericks were supposed to be scoring on."

He right. He scored on the right goal. It was back court by the point guard who brought the ball up. You see after the bucket is made/waived off, Dallas goes back to the other end to play Def.

No they went the wrong way at first. The dunk was scored at the right hoop, but it was already a backcourt violation then.

@@ScottAgness The true violation was made by referees who gave the ball to inbound to the wrong team. All afterwards didn't count anyway. But obviously Mavs player #31 didn't know which side they're playing 3 minutes till the end of game. 😂
