If you didn't know, there are some poles that have straps that can release. That way, you can't drop your poles but you also can't break your wrist.

How did you get so goddamn good at skiing??? I tried skiing trees last season and I hit every branch I could see.

My husband was badly hurt doing this after 25 years of experienced skiing. A hidden tree stump changed his life, my life, our children’s lives. Chronic pain and the inability to ski and do many other things he loved, like he once had has altered his persona. Its SO not worth the risk and affects those who are left around you to care for you. 😢 ‘Tree bashing’ made me laugh, then almost cry, trees don’t move. The arrogance of it all. Just one perspective, please be safe, one bad move doesn’t just change only your life.

I’m new to skiing just had my first ski trip with the lads, pretty comfy on red slopes but if I tried that I can guarantee I’d be upside down in a tree well within 5 seconds

If you've never skied, tree skiing is way more terrifying than this video even shows when you're starting. I can do any groomed runs (blacks, blues, etc) and feel fine on black moguls if it's not absolutely insane, but tree skiing freaks me out. You need insane control and reflexes.
