Damaged remote/ key fob casing replacement and blade switch Peugeot 407/Citroen C5

Hello everyone today I have made a video, on how to replace the damaged Peugeot 407 / Citroen C5 key fob casing and also switch over internals and blade. I hope you will find this video use full. All I can say its a very easy job and the fresh looking keys feels and looks amazing.
for a pin removal I used a mini cross screw driver but you can even use a small nail and it will do the job. for pushing pin back I use a pliers.

I recently got a new key from aliexpress (blade, case and PCB) for like 19 euros total including the fact that they cut the blade for the new key based on a photo I sent. Programmed straight away with diagbox and works like a charm, really happy that it was that easy and the diagnostic tool has certainly paid for itself a few times by now, I can't imagine the dealer doing the same job for very cheap Old blade was really sloppy around the pin and one of the microswitches broke so I decided to try an entirely brand new key before resoldering the key and doing other things and I'm glad it worked out and I can try to refurb the old key without worrying about destroying my only key. Only thing I had to gamble on was whether the signal was ASK of FSK for the remote but looks like I lucked out and it was ASK for my 2006 407 coupe

Hi, i have broken my key and have bought cutting and a new keycase for the 207 however i still have the orginal chip in, do i med to programm anything, or can i just switch the chip to the new key?

There's a couple of different fobs, and blades, make sure you get the right one.

Hi, I ended up with a dead remote battery and had to replace it (a 1620 for my Peugeot 407 1.6HDi). Now the remote is no longer working. I tried what the user manual says but no luck. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

From where to import blades , and shells? For the keys?

Maybe You will make video about programming a new key? In my Peugeot 407 I have only one key and I want to make another one. I thought about buy new case and electronic board. I have diagbox.

@@zosia_lat_1226 I think it would be an Interasting video so I will have a look in programming a key and see if I can make a video. I have not done it before I know how to sinc a key, but I never programmed it. I think you need 4 digits pin code from main dealer to do it. I will research it.

Hi mate there is already quite a few videos on KZfaq about a 407 handbrake adjust but I will see what I can do and maybe make a video in a near future.
