If a movie can be literature, Babylon is just that. Masterful. I've watched it 6 times since it was released and I discover new things each time. I especially am amazed by the color palette and the language it uncovers.

Although true, The creative collaborations and visual innovations of the silent era are easily eclipsed by the "shock and awe" of lifestyles, decadence etc.

i feel shamed for this current audience they don't care about great movies anymore like BABYLON they only watch useless theme parks as scorsese mentioned previously
