I really like Damien, aka D, from the Westside. I love the back story. Much respect to his authentic self and his character.

That’s what I’m talking about give Kountry Wayne his flowers. He made a way out of no way for so many. This man is a great actor, I enjoyed every skit he’s done. I don’t understand the hate he’s getting from black comedians but then again I do. Crabs in a barrel.

I don't remember who turned me on to the show, but I immediately fell in love with Damien, aka D from the Westside. He didn't care for him initially, but he grew on me. He definitely reminds me of some homeboy and sons I know. I'm a believer in Jesus, so I guess I enjoy the various transitions that he's made during the course of his life. I was definitely looking forward to his total transformation out of the streets, but we know its not that easy when we're trying to do things in our own strength . I hate the whole drug dealer concept but our people are still stuck in that whole era, although it having a very negative impact on our community (then) and now. Real life and in art form. That's one of the things I seriously don't like about the script, but K.W. continues to surprise us with positive life changing experiences in certain characters. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to see some balance in all of the characters' lives in reference to them truly acknowledging God as Our All in All.. The youth watching so we must be careful how we represent. This is a great platform just make sure you understand the Importance of Influence and how we Represent and Present ourselves....

We love Damien (D from the westside). His character really does make a big difference in the KW platform. His character shows a lot of reality of the streets. It also showed that a person can make a change yet still excel like he did when Mike beat him down, then brought him into the vending machine business.

He did not place himself or depend on the traditional climb to entertainment success through Hollywood. Black excellence blessed by HaShem. What a testimony.
